I bought this one since my big ac went bad and needed a quick fix since summer started I was so pleased I went back and bought a higher btu unit insignia and have been happy with both haven’t had to drain either of them since I bought them!

The assembly was easy enough, as long as you pay attention to what way the panel that connects to the tube. Beyond that, I have a 350 SQ ft office that it cools easily. It is definitely louder than I anticipated, but it's not problematic for my line of work.

Great Product! I love this little a c unit. It came quick comma it was easy to set up. Works like a dream. Very good value for the money. I really would highly recommend a friends & or purchase again.

Bought this two years ago for my son’s room. I also bought and LG model, this one has outlasted the LG. It still runs cold and is easy to set up every year. Well worth the money!

Bought both this and a Frigidaire portable AC. This Insignia cools my bedroom almost instantly. Only run 30 mins max each day. The more expensive and larger brand name ac doesn’t perform half as well. She is pretty loud though so keep that in mind

Our central A/C had gone out in our apartment so we bought this as a quick fix to keep us and our fur babies cool. Great for keeping a room cool, easy to set up and easy maintenance. Saved us from the Texas summer heat.

So far had for three weeks and used as ac only because our hvac was broken. Immediately cooled off the living room and dining room. Seems to have a reach beyond 250sqft.

Very cold and reliable! Wasn't too sure about how the remote couod act as a thermostat away from the ac unit, but it's definitely working as advertised!

Besides it being loud it’s everything we wanted and more. Cool air cools the room off real fast. Had a small issue with a hose and leak issue but once we took the hose out it was fine.

I bought the Insignia portable air conditioner a couple years ago. Overall I happy with the performance of the air conditioner. However it would be great if the buttons on top were able to be locked preventing unwanted changes. I am forever having my cats jump on top of the air conditioner to look out the window. This of course means when they do, they adjust the fan speed, temperature settings, and even turn the power off.

Great AC unit, love that the top swings and blows the air around. Definitely on the louder side but I like having the noise in the background. Pretty heavy in he box if you’re carrying up stairs be sure you have 2 people. Otherwise the unit itself it on wheels so easy to move anround once inside. Overall works great and I’ve been happy with it so far.

Great unit cools down real fast. Easy to clean, and drain every few months.

Cools fast, only runs when it is trying to get back to requested temp. It is kind of loud when running, but not annoying to me. Took a bit to get used to it occasionally turning on at night.

I picked this up right as the temperature was starting to increase at the beginning of summer. My apartment does not have central AC, and I needed something to make it livable on the days where the temperature climbed into the 80s and 90s. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I had it installed within 30 minutes of getting it home. The only challenge I faced was that my windows are of the vertical sliding type. While the exhaust adapter was long enough to span the gap, they did not provide enough of the plastic studs which are supposed to keep the pieces from sliding back into each other. I was able to reinforce each join with fiberglass strapping tape, resulting in a very sturdy setup, which has been serving me well ever since. I appreciate the "follow me" feature which allows you to have the unit match the temperature wherever the remote is located. On the hotter days, I put the remote on the opposite side of the room from the unit, and this helps balance the overall comfort level of the room much more effectively.

Good air conditioner for 1 bedroom apartment, easy to assemble, fast shipping to the door!
