Decent for the price. Kind of loud, but its a white noise loud. I'm still able to listen to music and or watch tv in the room without having to crank up volume too high. Keeps my small bedroom pretty cool. Only real issue is that i live in South Carolina near the coastline. It gets pretty humid here, and this thing drains condensation at almost half a gallon an hour.

I absolutely love the AC it works better than I thought it would. We have been with out central air conditioning almost 2 months now and this portable unit saved us. It works great, easy to install,easy to use and switchs modes fast. My kids like the light up numbers on the top. They are easy to please. It has definitely done everything that it said. I even have to turn it up at night because it keeps the temperature on exactly what I set it for regardless of the temperature outside. I would not know what I would have done if I didn't get it recently.

Works great for my upstairs bedroom was able to cool down the upstairs in under 1 hours instruction however were a little confusing at first but after you get going it was easy

Great overall quality merchandise for a reasonable price. It’s easy to use also it doesn’t take up a lot of space. Also a great thing about it is that it is portable and can go right in the box when you don’t need to use it. The modern look is also a plus. This product will mostly last for years to come and is a great investment.

I give this product 5 stars because this portable air conditioner did exactly what I needed it to do. I found out on the hottest days of the year that my central air unit needed to be replaced. I was desperate for something to cool my house until I could get my air conditioner replaced. This portable unit did not disappoint. I would say from the moment I assemble this unit, cold air started blowing in. This unit is also easy to assemble. I had it connected in my window in 5 minutes. We used this portable air conditioner for 2 weeks. This unit had my room really comfortable and sometimes really cold. You can adjust it to your comfort level. I would definitely recommend this unit to everyone. I have recommended this unit to a lot of my family and friends.

It's a little loud but we don't care at all because this thing works! Our bedroom is in the attic of our house. It's a semi finished attic so it has no heating and barely any insulation so this attic on a 90 degree day gets HOT. We had a regular window unit before and the room was still warm on its lowest temperature setting. This portable AC actually makes our attic bedroom cold and we've been sleeping like babies since. It's also a nice design and was easy to set up. We love the remote as well since our bedroom is very big and the ac isn't close to the bed.

I use this Insignia portable AC in my son's room, and it works like a charm. It cools the space quickly and keeps it comfortable even on hot days. The setup was easy, and it’s not too noisy, which is great for relaxing or working. Compact, efficient, and definitely worth it for smaller spaces! Just don't forget to drain it once in awhile.

My son's AC unit went out after a solid 6 year run. I didn't want to spend another $500 dollars on the same one, so I looked around and found this one. I got this unit as an open box (returned and verified in 'Good' condition) for $79. With money in mind, I purchased it and its been set up and running for 3 weeks now. It works great - cools the room and runs correctly - no issues. The down side is I put a hose on the upper drain & feeds into a 2 gallon bucket. We have to dump the bucket almost every day. Considering returning it and getting something different,

This has worked well keeping our 3 season room/ porch with sunspace windows below 80F and not humid during the 95+F days in NC. It isn't very quiet but it is not extremely noisy. It is a condenser doing it's job.

Item is good price compared to other brands. Easy to operate and maneuver. Cools room quickly. Just a little louder than I expected. Would purchase again.

This is great air conditioner for a small room. Gets cool enough for comfortable nights sleep. Also, has a sleep mode so you don’t freeze at night! Bulky remote but nice to have. Also, you can turn off LED lights so, you don’t have a blue hue in the room at night. My one and only complaint and this could go for any portable air conditioner. The hose that hooks to the window, should be longer. Or a kit to extend it should be available. Had to search and duck tape another hose together to make it long enough to reach around my window. The window kit was easy to put together too! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an air conditioner!

We are full-time RV'ers and the factory AC unit on top cannot compete with what this portable AC unit can do. The RV AC units cost $1500.00 and this was only $200.00. It rolls anywhere we want it and performs perfectly. It's quite and the setup was very easy. The only complaint we have is we should have bought two!

It's a bit loud but the air conditioning is very good at cooling.

This AC works great. I like that the remote doubles as a temperature gauge and with the follow me option the ac adjusts accordingly to the temperature settings.

Works very well in my 2nd floor home office (approximately 150 sq ft), keeps it nice and cool and even cools down the adjacent hallway. Remote control is very handy and easy to operate, noise level is reasonable.

So glad that the portable AC that I ordered from Amazon was delayed because I canceled that order and purchased this one from Best Buy the next day. I saved $25 on the purchase AND it comes with an exhaust hose that for me sets the standard for how such a hose should work. The AC on Amazon wanted $35 for the hose. I should have read all of the answers to the asked questions as this unit does have to be drained periodically base on the humidity in the place that it is used. I am having hip replacement surgery so bending over to drain will not be possible for me for 6-8 weeks. I live alone so that may turn out to be an issue. Another reviewer said that it was so loud that they recommended wearing a headset. Another reviewer actually tested it and found that on low fan it registered 60 db. (that's not very loud as charts show a normal conversation measures 65 db.). It is slightly louder than the window unit it replaced but part of that is because it has to be 20 inches from the wall so it is sitting further out in the room. The only negative comment that I have so far after 3 days of use is that the exhaust panel that fits in the window has the opening slightly too low. I had to tilt the panel back slightly so that the hose would attach. If they raised the opening half an inch it would completely eliminate that problem. Installation was straight forward and went smoothly for this 70 year old decrepit man. One suggestion, when installing the foam strips with adhesive on it do not remove the whole strip that covers the adhesive at once. That's what I did on the first strip and ended up with adhesive on my fingers that took a scrubber dish sponge to remove. Just peal back an inch or two at a time as you go.

This portable A/C unit works very well and cools my bedroom quickly. It was easy to set up and comes with several different sized window sliders for venting.

Great product super cold air! Easy to clean and easy to move!

Living in the HOT Texas heat where the central air in my apartment couldn’t keep up, this little guy saved me this summer. It also saved me a ton of money. It worked very well in my bedroom, allowing me to at times, turn the ac in the apartment that couldn’t keep up off. Make sure you drop the exhaust vent all the way into the window frame or it may come out, in which case you will be heating an already hot space (lesson learned the hot way). I give it a 4 stars because it is awesome BUT the downside is it is loud. I’m a “quiet” sleeper so it took some getting use to, but the sacrifice of noise has been worth it to sleep cool and comfortable. It’s on coasters wheels (already installed) and glides easily. It is a bit heavy, however it’s also very sturdy so worth the weight. If you are hot, this is the way to go. Much more convenient than traditional units especially if you have non-traditional size windows (as I do), no worrying about it not being secure in the window or awkwardly lifting into a window.

Pretty good so far I do get a weird knocking noise at 76 degrees it's like the compressor is trying to kick on but other that that for a small size room it does keep it cool
