Decent for the price. Kind of loud, but its a white noise loud. I'm still able to listen to music and or watch tv in the room without having to crank up volume too high. Keeps my small bedroom pretty cool. Only real issue is that i live in South Carolina near the coastline. It gets pretty humid here, and this thing drains condensation at almost half a gallon an hour.

This is great air conditioner for a small room. Gets cool enough for comfortable nights sleep. Also, has a sleep mode so you don’t freeze at night! Bulky remote but nice to have. Also, you can turn off LED lights so, you don’t have a blue hue in the room at night. My one and only complaint and this could go for any portable air conditioner. The hose that hooks to the window, should be longer. Or a kit to extend it should be available. Had to search and duck tape another hose together to make it long enough to reach around my window. The window kit was easy to put together too! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an air conditioner!

Great overall quality merchandise for a reasonable price. It’s easy to use also it doesn’t take up a lot of space. Also a great thing about it is that it is portable and can go right in the box when you don’t need to use it. The modern look is also a plus. This product will mostly last for years to come and is a great investment.

Cools the room quickly and doesn't need to be drained. The size is reasonable, my only complaint is that the added window attachment didn't fit the rooms window (it's a tall side slide, 70 inches) but we bought multiple units so I was able to use some of the extra parts from those to fit it in.

So glad that the portable AC that I ordered from Amazon was delayed because I canceled that order and purchased this one from Best Buy the next day. I saved $25 on the purchase AND it comes with an exhaust hose that for me sets the standard for how such a hose should work. The AC on Amazon wanted $35 for the hose. I should have read all of the answers to the asked questions as this unit does have to be drained periodically base on the humidity in the place that it is used. I am having hip replacement surgery so bending over to drain will not be possible for me for 6-8 weeks. I live alone so that may turn out to be an issue. Another reviewer said that it was so loud that they recommended wearing a headset. Another reviewer actually tested it and found that on low fan it registered 60 db. (that's not very loud as charts show a normal conversation measures 65 db.). It is slightly louder than the window unit it replaced but part of that is because it has to be 20 inches from the wall so it is sitting further out in the room. The only negative comment that I have so far after 3 days of use is that the exhaust panel that fits in the window has the opening slightly too low. I had to tilt the panel back slightly so that the hose would attach. If they raised the opening half an inch it would completely eliminate that problem. Installation was straight forward and went smoothly for this 70 year old decrepit man. One suggestion, when installing the foam strips with adhesive on it do not remove the whole strip that covers the adhesive at once. That's what I did on the first strip and ended up with adhesive on my fingers that took a scrubber dish sponge to remove. Just peal back an inch or two at a time as you go.

This unit seems to do a good job cooling my bedroom. I like that I can easily take the hose and extenders out of the window when not in use because I didn’t install them permanently. I would be happier if it was a little quieter.

We purchased this unit for our sun room and it's a good unit for the price and quality. For us, we get too much intense sun on the back of our house and needed a solution which this unit provided. It was easy to setup and the direction provided were clear.

The AC works great and cool the room well. I haven’t user the humidifier yet. The AC when turn on the noise level is louder than I expected looks bulky probably because of the build in humidifier. Easy to assemble! I paid $200

If you’re looking for a quiet A/C it will be when pigs fly, this thing does exactly what you need it. Currently used in it 85 degree weather and it cooled the room down within 5-7 minutes. It has a heavy flow of air. For those that have a issue with noise I recommend keeping the tape and bottom phone from the box to reduce the noise. Other then that all you hear is the air being pushed out, no extra vibration like window AC’s have when you first turn on. For sure measure the room you’re going to be using because this is for small square rooms.

Gets the job done in the Texas Heat

Living in the HOT Texas heat where the central air in my apartment couldn’t keep up, this little guy saved me this summer. It also saved me a ton of money. It worked very well in my bedroom, allowing me to at times, turn the ac in the apartment that couldn’t keep up off. Make sure you drop the exhaust vent all the way into the window frame or it may come out, in which case you will be heating an already hot space (lesson learned the hot way). I give it a 4 stars because it is awesome BUT the downside is it is loud. I’m a “quiet” sleeper so it took some getting use to, but the sacrifice of noise has been worth it to sleep cool and comfortable. It’s on coasters wheels (already installed) and glides easily. It is a bit heavy, however it’s also very sturdy so worth the weight. If you are hot, this is the way to go. Much more convenient than traditional units especially if you have non-traditional size windows (as I do), no worrying about it not being secure in the window or awkwardly lifting into a window.

Air conditioning went out and I needed something immediately. Came across this portable ac system and purchased it. Got it home, followed the simple directions for hookup and had my master bedroom cooled in no time. It is a little heavy, so you may need more than one person if using upstairs, but Definitely a lifesaver!

I bought this A/C ahead of the hot SoCal summer, and I will say it would keep my room nice and cool after about 30-60mins of being on. I gave 4/5 stars because it does produce alot of water when using, so it can be a hassle to drain and dump.

Easy to install, quite efficient and very quiet. The cool air is remarkably cold and cools down a large room in less than an hour and then the advanced settings on the machine allow it to run at a lower and most cost efficient speed. I'm quite impressed with the low cost and would recommend this for the garage, an upstairs attic area or just for temporary use in the kitchen when preparing a large meal requiring the stove to be on for periods of time.

It cools down my 300 square foot studio decently well. The cool air struggles to reach the kitchen and hallway/bathroom, but only because the air has to go through doorways to reach those spaces. I could probably solve this by using fans. Only complaint is the noise, it’s pretty loud. But the features are nice and the price was relatively affordable.

Great little ac unit for a back bedroom. Apartment was about 1,010 sq.ft. But the in home unit couldn’t cool the back. This was a great purchase and worked well. Has some noise to it, but was still able to sleep, sort of reminded me of a noise machine on high blast. Again, killing it Best Buy with the affordability.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear that the AC unit has been a great solution for cooling your back bedroom, especially in a larger apartment where the central unit couldn’t quite reach. It’s great to know it performed well and even added a bit of white noise that helped with sleep. We truly appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear it was a worthwhile and affordable purchase.

Perfect little AC for a smaller sized room. Very easy install and the remote is a plus. Ran two of these for a month and didn’t see a huge increase in our energy bill either!
