set up was simple. I like how fast it cools down my room. When our air conditioner broke it was nearly 90 degrees and it brought the whole apartments temperature down to 78 by being in just one room. I kept it installed so I can turn off the central air and just cool down my room to save energy. My curly hair also appreciates the dry feature to dehumidify the room. humidity gets so bad here in georgia especially in the spring. I noticed my blowouts started lasting way longer when I purchased this.

Great purchase. This is a terrific A/C unit for the price. Easy set up, is quiet and works very well at keeping what was a very warm room at temperature. Even in the hottest weather. I recommend.

I love this a/c easy to install easy to move around even on carpet!!! Gets cold has a dehumidifier that also comes with a tube for water drainage. Great for a king size bedroom!!! The only con is living where the sun shines directly in window, other than that in high humidity & 90° weather i cozy up with my blanket every night.

I use this Insignia portable AC in my son's room, and it works like a charm. It cools the space quickly and keeps it comfortable even on hot days. The setup was easy, and it’s not too noisy, which is great for relaxing or working. Compact, efficient, and definitely worth it for smaller spaces! Just don't forget to drain it once in awhile.

Works very well! It’s a medium size portable ac. Temperature drops very fast from 92-75. Love how it has a sleep mode. It also doesn’t take a lot of space in my room.

It's a bit loud but the air conditioning is very good at cooling.

Its a good size air conditioner, it has a remote which is great so you dont have to get up and change it

Pro: Cools room down fast. Cons: Loud Constantly keeps running. Internal Temp sensor is off.

Cooled the room better than expected; not to loud, a little on the heavy side, but the wheels help maneuver.

The hbac in my apartment is terrible and never really works. I bought this thinking that itd just. Be a bigger fan and was planning to return it if it didnt work out because of insignia branding. Ive had this for over 2 months now and have no intentions of returning this. Ive never had a decently cooled room till this one and installation was a breeze aside from needing to buy a drill for 20$. But i needed pne anyway. Would recommend for the easy installation alone my only gripe is the hose is pretty huge and takes a decemt amount if space. Had to do a little reprganizing but it all worked out i. The end

The central air conditioning in my building was out for a month. I bought the machine two weeks into it so I could sleep comfortably. It is perfect! Handyman installed it easily. It works well has variable temperature and fan settings, timers, remote and a humidifier function. A/C has been fixed but I know I will use this again when they turn it off in September and we have 80 degree days again! Worth the price, but it was really a good value.

Easy set up, cools down a large bedroom quickly, no issues. Yes there is noise as it runs but it’s not loud or obnoxious. Almost like brown noise. We have one in each bedroom(3), leave our doors open and it cools our entire 2300 sq ft house.

My roommate and i got one back in 2021 and it just recently went out so we had to purchase a second one and im so glad we got this one. It works wonderfully. Keeps our apartment nice and cool

I'm very impressed with this product and how well it cools our bedroom and even makes the upstairs more comfortable. I opted for a excellent condition open-box item and saved substantially so I couldn't be more excited about the purchase. It was simple to setup and that was my first impression of it. The remote control is a great, great, convenience and I am so happy to have found this. Best Buy you are my favorite place for so many products and this one is at the top of the list especially since we have lived with a " summer sweat box " for WAY TOO LONG.

I love in a part of the country that actually stays relatively cool most of the year with only about 3 months of the year getting up to temperatures where I need an AC unit. For those 3 months I like to have a unit for each bedroom to make sleep a little easier. I bought this one for my son's room and it seems to work well. Pretty simple to set up and maintenance on them is minimal. The only reason I knocked it down one star is that it seems to take a little longer to cool down a similar sized room compared to other units that I have with the same Sq ft and BTU rating. But it still gets the job done

Great product super cold air! Easy to clean and easy to move!

I searched for multiple portable air conditioners all over the internet, especially on Amazon and I decided to buy this model (haven't bought from BestBuy in years) with hopes it would be worth the money. There weren't many reviews at the time of my purchase but the price seemed reasonable and I wanted a known brand versus some of the brands on Amazon. This unit is used in a small bedroom in a house that has no air conditioning at all. It cools the room down extremely quick and we actually use it on a full time basis. Easy setup, draining, and cleaning. Has multiple functions that work well too! We have had no issues venting the unit out of bedroom window and this definitely beats a window unit. Overall, this a/c has saved us as summer is starting and we are pleased with the price we paid and the performance of the unit. No regrets buying!

It does a fantastic job keeping my home cool. Even the cool air makes it upstairs. Would 1000% recommend again

Like many others, I bought this portable air conditioner when my central AC went out at my house and I was waiting for a part to come in. I only needed it to cool the master bedroom. I can tell you, it was a life saver. Setup was extremely easy and the unit performed flawlessly. Its a great insurance policy to have in the event my home's AC goes out again in 100+ degree heat and humidity. Would highly recommend.
