A lifesaver! This little unit is perfect to keep our large bedroom cool for when we need it. Super easy to set up and take down and is small enough that we just store it in our closet until we need it again.

Worked/works great. In summer central AC broke and while waiting for repair I used for downstairs living/dining area - about 5oo sq ft. Perfect. When AC was finally fixed it comes part and rolls into the closet without taking up much room. Does not need to have the screen taken out which is a big plus over some others.

We are very happy with this unit! It cools my son's room down very quickly and isn't terribly noisy. It was extremely easy to install in our sliding glass window. Working well even through the terrible heatwave we just had.

This insignia unit Works as described! It is Easy to empty! Being portable and able to cool rooms without standard windows was important in my search for a room air conditioner. I wish it doubled as a dehumidifier is my only complaint.

Works perfectly and was pretty easy to setup. It is a little loud but not as bad as I thought it would be.

This was a perfect solution for my son’s bedroom which over the garage. It’s a little loud, but I rather it be loud and cool. After testing it out in my kid’s room, we ended up purchasing a couple of more.

The AC is good, Makes room cold in less than 15 minutes, The only drawback is it stores lot of water in the back and it's so low, its very hard to drain the water from the unit. If there's water in the unit the air is just like fan. This is the second unit I have, the first one survived only 3 years, it started to shut down by itself in 10 minutes. Couldn't be fixed so I had to purchase a new one

Good quality against price It cooled down my area, so powerful and easy to install but extremely heavy and noisy

The unit cools down a small-sized room, don't think it will be useful for rooms over 250 sq ft. The unit does take up a lot of space and is a little loud, but it works. The unit comes with a remote which is a plus and has attachments that easily install in a sliding window.

Worked well at cooling a 20x15 master bedroom while my AC was out. The window mount needs more height for compatibility with all windows. I needed to place a trimmed 1x2 board underneath it to clear the ledge on my window sill.

Overall I'm grateful. It works well and cools my place down well, sometimes too cold. The only complaint/ concern is while unpacking I was a bit curious to know if someone owned it beforehand. I also notice a crack in the back, pictures to follow.

This unit was very easy to Install. It works very well and is much better than a window unit since the window screens can remain closed.

My central a/c went out and the part took a week to get in, so I had to have something to get me thru the 95 degree days. They had this unit in stock so I bought it. I was able to get it in the house & set it up myself with little effort. It worked great & kept my bedroom cool so I could make it until my big unit was up & running. I highly recommend this unit & I'm glad I have it on hand in case I need it again.

My wife and I decided to buy this portable air conditioner because we travel for sports and we use it in our tent and it works great. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a portable air conditioner.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this 2 years ago. But, I was on a budget, and I took a chance. This is a great machine! No, it won't cool an entire house, and it probably won't do an apartment in full either. However, It has keep going, without a hiccup, for almost 2 full years now. The only thing I'd do differently if I was buying it now, would be to spend more for a more powerful one. Bottom line: If you are in a studio, or just looking to cool a bedroom, this machine will work just fine for you. Easy to install, and easy to store. Love that it's on casters.
