For 95 F and below youre golden! Its a good backup in case your central air goes out, its really heavy though

But, I was on a budget, and I took a chance. This is a great machine! No, it won't cool an entire house, and it probably won't do an apartment in full either. However, It has keep going, without a hiccup, for almost 2 full years now. The only thing I'd do differently if I was buying it now, would be to spend more for a more powerful one. Bottom line: If you are in a studio, or just looking to cool a bedroom, this machine will work just fine for you. Easy to install, and easy to store. Love that it's on casters.

The unit does take up a lot of space and is a little loud, but it works. The unit comes with a remote which is a plus and has attachments that easily install in a sliding window.

Just be mindful of the square footage because if you get one too small it may not cool the room good enough. However, if you get a good sized AC your room will be a chilly wonderland. Just make sure to have a big enough bucket for the water it collects, especially if it's really humid.

It does leak a little bit when it runs a lot in the hotter days so I put a rubber mat under it. I love that it has a temp control and runs on and off to keep constant temperature but doesn’t just run all day like my old one did. For the price I highly recommend this unit!!

Has come to be very helpful whenever we have issues with our ma8n AC and it definitely helps keep the room cool when we need it most. This unit is easy to setup and use. Theres sometimes a small issue with the remote desyncing with the unit, but it's not a huge issue. Would recommend regardless.
