This is a great portable AC. It is very big and loud, but that is expected for an AC unit. It works great even on 100°F + days and still works even months later. I am so glad we got this thing

It is kind of loud but it gets the job done. It is also supposed to automatically shut off and give an error when the water tank is full but the one time it got full the plug popped open and spilled water all over the floor. May have been a one off but time will tell. Easy to install. Overall it’s great for the price as other units of similar size are at least $100 more.

Very happy! This AC unit was easy to setup and vent out of a smaller side window to cool an entire studio apartment (600 sq.ft.). Comes with a remote, has a digital temp display and the blower door has an up/down "swing" direction feature like a fan.

Works well, a little loud, but they all are. Will keep an apartment room cold.

Over all very happy with this product. It does leak a little bit when it runs a lot in the hotter days so I put a rubber mat under it. I love that it has a temp control and runs on and off to keep constant temperature but doesn’t just run all day like my old one did. For the price I highly recommend this unit!!

Overall got the job done when our central a/c system failed...yet again! I feel that the "fittings" for the window exhaust could have been better and more flexible. The configurations are limited making it difficult to install in some locations. There is little insulation to prevent the hot air being exhausted from coming back into the room being cooled. I created my own window insulation. It does cool the room down effectively, if a little noisily. I

Cools up within 10 minutes! Pretty heavy but overall easy to put together. People say it’s noisy but I don’t think so... it’s just like any regular air conditioner

I bought this last year. Absolutely love it! Keeps the room nice and cool and gets it’s cool quickly! We have two other portable air conditioners that we paid a lot more money for and in my opinion, this one works better! Highly recommend

This little guy was perfect for my daughter's bedroom. I really liked the improvements they made from the previous models. The fact that the remote was digital was bonus as well as the exhaust tube actually having a brace on the ends so that they didn't fall off easily. It is great at cooling smaller rooms even during very hot days. This is our second Insignia portable AC and they are great. As long as you don't treat them horribly and expect them to cool the entire house, you should be happy. They seem to go on sale periodically so I would recommend you pick one up when they do.

Great little portable AC. Cools off my entire bedroom but could easily cool off my whole apartment if I keep the door open. Powerful, small and I like the “fan” noise! Also doesn’t take up much room or window space. Worth every penny!

The unit was amazingly simple and easy to install. It took no time at all. Honestly it cools alot more than what it’s surprisingly rated for, and it has quite a choice of settings as well to really set the right experience. Best Buy always has the best brands and choices for my family. This product is another reason why you cant go wrong with them. Ps chilllllly

This works great and cools down my room efficiently.

I had low expectations for the price point but this unit is terrific. We live in an apartment and the a/c can never keep up once temps rise above 80 or so. This unit reliably keeps our living room cool at around 70-75 depending on the outside temp. Absolutely worth it. Best price I’ve seen for this size unit as well, works just as good at the brand names!

We’ve bought a few of these style A/Cs over the past few years and this is by far the best one! We love how well thought out it was - from the cord storage to the remote control, this is a superior air conditioner! It has plenty of air flow and quickly cools a hot room. It’s pretty quiet and has quite a few options. The price was very competitive. It was actually the least expensive option out of the three units I bought just this year and it’s my favorite. If I had found this one first I would have bought them all from Best Buy!
