The portable AC unit was very easy to install and vent to the small window in the bedroom. In addition, it works great and keeps the room nice and cool.

Amazing unit! Worth every penny, whether using as a booster unit, alone, or having on stand by just incase. You can't go wrong with this one.

Works great, cools our entire basement, let alone the single (12'x36'-ish) bedroom we purchased it for. Easy to set up, even if you've never used a portable a/c before. The included exhaust tubing was a bit short for our particular bedroom setup (which is a shame, as its very durable and satisfyingly clicky when adjusted) however the window adapter and the exhaust connector both easily attached to some large metal ventilation tubing we purchased at the hardware store. awesome amount of features and functionality for the price we paid, highly recommended if you cant get/dont want a traditionally window-mounted a/c.

I am writing this four months after purchasing the portable air conditioner. I am using this unit in an area that can hit 90 during a summer day. What a great unit! It cooled my bedroom so well and has great settings to make adjustments as needed. The remote is a great touch. I was concerned about how loud it would be but it's not that bad - definitely not quite though. Quiet enough I can have it on during Zoom meeting so it's not that loud. I did quite a bit of research before buying a portable air conditioner and I am so glad this one worked out so well. Highly recommended!

Works great. Cools quickly, has just a fan option, comes with remote and batteries. relatively easy setup, just heavy af getting it from the car into the apartment.

Works for my small studio apartment. Installation was fairly easy, and emptying the water tank isn’t difficult either. It keep the room at a cool comfortable temperature when it’s like 75-85 outside but anything hotter than that, this AC isn’t powerful enough for the room to feel completely cool. It was also a pain to bring up the stairs (it weighs over 100 pounds) and I live in a walk up. That wasn’t a negative feature it’s just useful to know.

Good value! I use it to cool down a small room, about 200sf, works well. Timer function works well, you can set it to turn on or off.

**Read this review before buying** These kind of "air conditioners" should be seen as nothing more than a house fan with a compressor attached. These units are only good for cooling *really* small spaces and should not be purchased if you are looking for a unit to cool down an entire room. Look into a window AC or a dual hose machine firsthand before buying. The typical issue with these kinds of "portable" air conditioners in general is the fact that the heat exchange is happening inside the unit itself (which is inside of the room it's trying to cool) and is being ventilated through a single non-insulated exhaust hose. A lot of that heat is going to escape through the thin exhaust tube material back into the room. This will also be pulling the cool air from the room (that it just conditioned) and send it back through the exhaust outside. Super inefficient. This is the reason why dual hose units are far better, as they intake the non-conditioned outdoor air to cool the heat exchange of the unit and in turn sends the same non-conditioned air back outside through the additional exhaust hose. Window AC units have their heat exchange happen outside. This makes the units several times over more efficient and able to properly cool down an entire room without sending the electric bill through the roof. Be cautious of the area you place it in. If you are attempting to use this unit to cool a large area, you're actually going to make the room temperature RISE since the negative pressure caused by the single exhaust is going to pull more heat back into the room than it can mitigate. The moral of this review is to consider window AC units or dual hose units before purchasing single hose units like this one. Overall, I am happy with this unit and got what I expected out of it but nothing more. It's hardly able to keep my room cool yet it's no longer a sauna in here every time I boot my PC. It's a cheap and simple solution that works for me until I can afford a better and more efficient unit.

I think that our Insignia portable AC saved my life!!! We love it!!! I would recommend it!

Overall got the job done when our central a/c system failed...yet again! I feel that the "fittings" for the window exhaust could have been better and more flexible. The configurations are limited making it difficult to install in some locations. There is little insulation to prevent the hot air being exhausted from coming back into the room being cooled. I created my own window insulation. It does cool the room down effectively, if a little noisily. I

Bought two units , one for each floor in the house. Easy to assemble and install. Keeping the house very cool, so far so good. Love the variety of settings , especially the remote! Looked at other units but kept coming back to this brand - glad I did!! Curbside pickup made it a very easy process.

I love this air conditioner. It is much more quiet than the previous one we had. It definitely makes our bedroom much cooler. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a portable air conditioner for their bedroom.

So far, so good. I just set it up today and it was very simple to do. I have vertical windows and was able to adjust it with out cutting any thing. Also it's not as loud as I thought it would be so that is a plus.

Best unit i have bought. Keep the room it in freezer.

One year later and still blows cold! Make sure to drain it sometimes and before storing, leave it on the fan setting to get rid of any residual moisture. Only con is the air pressure from it being a single hose unit.

Beats all other on the market! Has multiple modes. And cools to near freezing! Using as a supplemental unit in beroom. But did work well even in 90 plus weather when AC went out and had to wait for new unit to be isntalled on house.
