Maintenance free. Just be aware it needs 19 inches clearance from walls etc. so it's an obvious addition to a room, especially with the pipe/vent leading to a window. Has done very well cooling my upstairs room which gets hit during the day. Numerous settings and can also be used as a dehumidifier by leading a pipe into a water receptacle which you'd need to empty. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

It cools the room in very little time and it's no louder than a window air conditioner. Very easy to install.

I especially love the automatic feature as it shuts off and on as needed. It isn't the most quiet of A/C's, but to be honest i dont even notice the sound anymore. Overall i think it's an amazing A/C and it delivered.

It is very heavy as well. I feel it is better because I think some pollen and air contaminants are better filtered by the time it gets inside as cold air but I cannot scientifically say for sure. I used all the provided taping to really seal that window area and do not plan to move it.

Although our house has central AC the room above the garage has poor circulation. This has been a saving grace on those humid and hot summer days and nights.

It came with the a hose to drain the water the foam to block the air from escaping ,and it’s quiet the pieces just snapped together not like a few other air conditioners I’ve had.
