This is my first portable ac, I Bought this for our bedroom during the summer heat. Setting up was easy I was able to assemble it myself (30 y Female) the AC cools down the bedroom very quickly, my 3 month old will not sleep if he is hot so this was a life saver!

This year I decided to get a small AC unit for my bedroom. While this unit is a bit larger than I had hoped (I wasn't able to find specific dimensions in the description.), it is not as large as some portable units. It is easy to set up and cools a small space well enough. It is quieter than many AC units but it is not what I would consider "quiet". The fan in particular is fairly quiet, but it's quite noticeable when the compressor kicks in. While portable units are less efficient than window AC units, I tend to prefer these because it allows me to easily remove the panel to open the window on cooler days OR leave the panel in and still open the (double hung) window from the top. Plus I was having mold issues on the inside the last window unit I had with no way to open the case and clean the inside. One note for this unit and my window: There are a few different panels sections to use together to fit windows of different sizes. It just so happens that my window (36" wide) was too wide for the smaller panels and too small for the largest panels. This necessitated cutting down one of the panels with a hacksaw. (easy enough to do)

Easy to set up & install. Keeps room at a very comfortable temperature.

Love this airconditioner. So nice to have incase of emergency at home/ home unit outage.

This unit works great in the bedroom and is super easy to set up and get running.

This air conditioner is perfect for someone like me who struggles to sleep during the summer because of the heat. The pros and cons are listed below. Pros: -quickly cools the room -powerful fan and compressor system -automatic temperature control for both the temperature reading on the unit and the remote -simple design Cons: -Fairly loud (about 1.5 to 2x my previous tower fan) -has to be installed in a window (although this is the case almost across the board)

Ease ofnuse and simple setup, get really cold in room now 350sq ft room

Needed something in a pinch due to having issues with my air condition unit. This works great for the price. Would purchase again.

Works great! Have had it a couple weeks now and It’s cooled our apartment office extremely well! I drain it every couple days. Only thing is that our electric bill shot up but that’s to be expected.

Easy to set up and a lifesaver in the summer heat. This isn't a great option for temporary or specific space cooling. Kept the room tolerable for sure!

How could I go wrong with this AC? The remote control makes it so easy to use; plus the onboard controls as well. It is very easy to install and I am working on year 2. I also use it as a fan when I just need outside air and I do not have to worry about the window being open,

I love it! Keeps my room and pets cool, easy to transport and the remote works good too

This is much better than constantly carrying buckets of water from my old portable. It really does the job cooking without the hassle.

It's a bit oversized for our bedroom (just barely), and with doors closed, it can't quite get down to 68F when I have tried, but 70F is attainable when I have set it those two degrees higher. Obviously, there are variables. I have an older home, and the walls need some insulation, so if your home is buttoned up a bit better than mine, you might not have the issue I had with it getting down to 68F, which I know is low, but I wanted to see if I could hit it. I hope this helps! I will add it is a bit on the loud side.

It will serve as a great relief if your unit is out and you chose to remain in your home until it is repaired

first one received was damaged but customer service was great and a replacements was received in a couple of days. Well worth the wait this is a hot summer and has helped us so far to cool a large master bedroom. I would give 5 stars but a bit noisy on high otherwise so far it works as promised. I am one happy camper.

I bought a two of these, different brands, this one was the best by far. The items that come with this to seal the window just work so much better, they fit better and easier to install. This was ny favorite unit, even though the other unit was a name brand and cost more money. The Insignia brand is becoming a legitimate option for me for all kinds of products.

Excellent portable air conditioner! This fits wonderfully on my back closed in patio.

Amazing AC unit! Easy to install and very cool. Fast cooling temps and covers a room easily. Easy to understand controls and comes with a remote. Recommended this unit.
