Keeps computer room very cool

The room would heat up even I was just using the computer to watch YouTube, and it was much worse when I would play video games. This air conditioner keeps the room very cool and doesn't struggle at all, even when the computer is doing something demanding. I only took off a star because the screen on the remote doesn't adjust if you use the buttons on the unit itself to change the temperature or settings.

It is cold downstairs with the other unit, but my office was almost 90. This air conditioner cooled the entire office in less than an hour and has made it cold! I had to turn it down! I knew it came with a window adapter, but I didn't realize it could work with side closing windows (was about to purchase one), but this one worked great. Up and running quickly. So far, so good! And it happed to be the deal of the day when I looked (only $30 off, but still).

As stated above the included hose is kind of short. I actually had to stand it on my dresser to jave enough length to get to the window but you can always buy an extension if needed. Solid performance all around

Made my bedroom bearable in the hot hot hot of summer (114 degrees!) and I was able to sleep... finally. Not too loud and not too big.

It is plugged into our generator for when the power goes out. We have an inverter generator so there is no damage to the ac unit. Not sure how it will work on an old school generator. We have it in our bedroom and it keeps the bedroom plenty cool at night. We usually sleep with the room at 68.
