My husband says it was easy to set up, and it is definitely easy to use. The room doesn't hit a temperature anywhere above where we set it to, nor does it dip below and freeze her out.

Didn't have it long but so far so good.

Even with the sleep mode it gets cold The window kit is easy to install and there was no lifting involved. You dont even have to take your screen out of the window which i love. Have to wait and see about the water drainage. Will review again in September to give a full review.

We’ve had it now for about two weeks , cops extremely well.

I did buy the Open Box version at a $60 discount, partly because they were out of stock of the Closed Box version. The Open was listed as being Excellent which they define as not missing any important parts. Mine was missing the "Unit Adapter" for fixing the hose to the unit. I would rate this as being an important part but nobody was interested in replacing it. I have it attached using instead bent paper clips and tape which is holding for now. Apart from that I am quite happy and it is maintaining a cold 66 degrees in the bedroom, which I prefer for sleeping, even when it was 108 outside.

Dont expect it to cool a large open area, but works great for bedrooms and we use this unit at night which allows us to set our central air much higher and not waste as much electricity :)
