Where i live it gets really hot inside my house in the summer and this really helps keep my downstairs cool. This isnt a substitute for a regular ac system but it definitely keeps my family more comfortable during the hot months.

However, i returned it with out any issues and purchased a standard window unit and now the room is cool. thank you Best Buy for the easy exchanged. Don USN FMF Ret.

Had everything i was looking for in a unit and exceeded my expectations. I only quit using it when I finally moved. Setup was easy, unit was quiet even near my bed, and maintenance was a breeze.
