Bought this for our son who lives in an apartment in Portland, OR with no a/c. It saved him and his roommate during their very hot summer heat waves. The only con is that it's very heavy - especially initially carrying it up to the 3rd floor and which makes it inconvenient to move.

Great little unit for a bedroom or office if you don't have central AC.

So here to help, Only ever get these types of AC units if you "can not" use a normal one, reason being is these are less efficient, compared to the Window units, that being said I have a side opening window and I don't pay for electric (Live in the Barracks) so I had to purchase one of these, and as far as this one goes it does the job well for a small room, it gets down to 62F, but my room hovers around 68F, I been running it 24-7 with no issues so far

Excellent unit; it cools down my 500 sq ft room with no problem even on 100 degree days. It has an auto on/off system which I frequently use so that it’s not running all the time. I would highly recommend this product! You do pay a bit more for quality and name brand, but it is worth the investment.

This AC really cools down my room. It is noisy though and the directions for installment are horrible.

I bought this for my sisters room, she has 3 windows in her room that lets in so much heat. This air unit has helped cool her room down. It is so much better than the typical window unit because you do not have the unit sitting in the window. The unit pumps out a lot of air and makes her room feel so much better.

Works very well. Amazing value! The AC was easy and intuitive to set up and operate.

Although we have central air, we bought this unit to further cool our bedroom at night without incurring the cost of further cooling the entire house. It works great. It vents out our window (no drilling or modifications necessary) by an adapter that fits in the window and the hose fits in the adapter and takes the warm air outside. Took about 10 minutes to set up. It works perfectly for our needs.

My compressor went out on my home unit and this open box purchase was a lifesaver. It keep my son room at a comfortable temperature. Price was a steal. My compressor has been replaced andy son is still using the unit.

Works wonderfully for my moms studio apartment. Summer is coming up and with SoCal getting record setting heat waves, I didn't want my mom to suffer in the heat so we got her this air conditioner and it cools down her apartment so quickly! She loves it! And it was so easy to install, my 60 year old mom did it all on her own!

Bought this AMAZING portable ac unit for these extreme Texas summers! It blows super cold and cooled my room down really fast! Works better than expected. Highly recommend this unit to anyone interested in getting one!

I bought 2 of these to keep guest rooms cool for the month we may need it, they work amazing, keeps the rooms plenty cool and the electric bill didn't go through the roof so they were a good purchase.

Unit works great. Was delivered about a week late and the box certainly looked like it was beat-up. The foam to go around the window seal was wrapped with a rubber band and really did a number on the foam. It was permanently indented in places and therefore not usable. We ended up having to buy new strips of foam. However, the unit has been great. Cools the room efficiently, not overly loud and doesn't fill with excess water very quickly at all. We recommend this AC unit!

Overall unit works great. It cools my server room/office efficiently. Lately the unit has been emitting a chemical almost ammonia like smell.

Great i love this things keeps the room cool and with the dry fuction it keeps the air cool and no damp recommended to have the hose connected and catch water from something i used the 5 gallon water jugs

Lats summer my AC dided. We couldnt get a new one for 10 days. That was in the middle of summer at 90 degrees+ every single day. This handy thing saved my life - bedroom at night and office during the day (I work from home) and it kept my room cool enough to let all my systems run. I have already lent it out to neighbors twice whose AC failed them and it was also a life saver.
