My only issue is the auto on/off fan option, make sure you select for it to run continuously otherwise it shuts on and off all night. Other than that great item and a life saver after my central air went and still waiting for parts to fix it.

Great Portable A/C Unit

It cooled a 14x12 room fairly quickly. It also didn't generate too much water that I have to throw away too often. Maybe due to more dry weather in Southern California. Quality seems pretty good as well.

It takes a little effort to install i.e. to create a draft-free setup. It works great. Cools a room down nicely! I hope it lasts. This is my first summer with it.

However, considering the price I wouldve expected it to work a lot better. It does cool my room down well although it does take a few hours. Any temperature over 90 degrees I wouldnt expect to get anything than a few degrees cooler. I felt as if I was paying a premium for the ease of use rather than the its overall effectiveness. While it definitely gives you those few degrees and makes super hot days livable, I wouldnt expect a revolutionary difference.

Stop sweating in your sleep

After that, we were rolling. The unit isn’t overly loud, in fact, we enjoy the sound it does make while we sleep. Most importantly, it cools the room down nicely. Only regret is we didn’t buy this unit earlier.
