Works for it’s purpose

One issue is the draining as you have to open both drain holes on the back but not all water comes out even with tilting I open back filter and use paper towel to soak it up so the smell of wet doesn’t get pushed out.

Great portable air conditioner

It works great. Room gets cold fairly quickly. My bedroom is over 250 sq. ft. and it still does a great job cooling the room.

After reading a bunch of reviews on a bunch of other units I picked this on. I'm happy with the unit. It does exactly what I need and that is to cool my bedroom. During the hot summer nights. I would recommend this unit and if you're worried about quality then buy the Geek Squad protection play. Well worth it. Geek Squad rocks!!

This insignia air conditioner cools faster and has more "oomph". I would buy this again!! The air also smells super crisp and clean. I was on the leery about buying it bc of the brand name, but it is worth it! I'd buy it again. In fact, I was considering it but think I can buy get by with my other unit. It cools better than my 12,000 btu unit from Solaris!

Window too large

I give it 5 stars because it cooling is great i also love that when you turn it off the top closes you can push it up in the corner

And it’s literally changed my life. I know this may seem far fetched but after 4 years of debating if I needed one, and finally having one. More than capable of keeping a decent size room cool (I used it in my bedroom of my apartment but could have easily put it in the living room instead). Wouldn't be abke to cool the entire apartment solo though. Definitely recommend a sale though, bit expesnsive for a single room ac unit.

Works great in California!

The temperature hit 90+ and this thing and a window unit were able to cool down all 3 rooms and the living room by at least 10-20 degrees. Very happy so far!
