But it struggles a bit in a 15'x15' room. When it's hot, hot, hot (like in the 110^, it'll keep the room at about 71^. The real test is when i get my electric bill.

Finally Portable AC that works

The room is very cool sometimes cold depends how low I set it. It doesn't leak. It's not loud at all, I can still watch TV. The remote works great.

Keeps out cat cool

We are able to set up a timer for the a/c to turn on before it gets too hot in our apartment. Its not too loud and cools our living room very nicely.

I discovered the drain plu was undone and since then it’s worked great.

A Total Waste of Time

Also, the unit is loud (you won’t be able to sleep) and the installation is criminal (comes with an adhesive foam that cannot be removed and will destroy the inside of your window frame). DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE FROM BEST BUY. AFTER AN HOUR OF INSTALLING, YOU’LL HAVE TO GO THROUGH EVEN MORE BACK PAIN BY HAVING TO RETURN IT.

It does send out a ton of condensation so we hooked up a permanent line to run outside and the plants are so grateful for the water :) also it’s quiet.
