Good for small rooms upto 150sq ft (more like 120sq ft). Open box excellent had missing remote.CSR did not help with missing remote. And only option was to carry this heavy item and return to nearest store. So be careful ordering anything not new could have missing accessories even though listing states that include all accessories. I decided to not not bother with returns product was functioning well ,hot weather and sudden home hvac malfunction. Later I ordered one new remote from ebay. Makes me wonder if these missing accessories lands at ebay. Anyways product is good and works quite well for small rooms.

I bought this portable AC in May 2020 to cool my bedroom. I would have preferred a window unit, but there is no way to install one at my apartment. Starting out, I didn't have any problems. The unit was easy to install, and the included window kit allowed me to hook up the exhaust hose to my vertical slit window without issue. The remote was nice and I never had to drain it (though I live in a pretty dry climate.) The unit was fairly loud, but cooled the room well and I didn't have any problems for the first few months. Towards the end of the summer, I started having problems with the unit suddenly shutting off and beeping until I unplugged it. I believe it was doing this because the compressor was overheating. Cleaning the evaporator and condenser coils seemed to help. I had been cleaning the filters regularly, but they seem to let a lot of dust through. I cleaned the unit thoroughly, covered it, and put it in the closet for the winter. This year, when I first set up the unit it seemed to be working all right. After a couple of weeks, however, I started to have problems with the unit periodically shutting off and beeping. It seemed to be the compressor overheating. I tried cleaning the coils again, but was still having issues and it seemed to be getting worse over time. The final straw though was last night, when the unit all of a sudden the unit started making a horrible crunching sound. I unplugged it immediately, and saw the plastic exhaust fan had shattered. At first I wondered if something had somehow gotten into the unit, but did not find anything other than broken pieces of the fan. So now the unit is completely useless. I would not recommend this AC to anyone. When it was actually working it worked fine, but proved unreliable, and has now left me without AC during a dangerously hot time of the year.

I love it. It is strong enough for one room and the remote makes it better. Reason why I bought it is because me and my roomate don’t agree on the apartments temperature so it definitely fixed the issue. Yes it is bulky and on the way but hey I sleep like a baby in below zero temperatures. Best feature is the fact that you can turn the lights off for a good night sleep and it can also dehumidify the air .

I bought this for a master bedroom when my central air had problems. I love the temperature set when it reaches temperature, it cycles off and doesn't just run all the time. The room is really cool. It also has a heat unit which I havent tried yet. It was on sale which was even better.

Works very well. Easy setup and installation I have had no issues as well with the water drain and cleaning the system.

Cools down my bedroom very quickly, I highly recommend this product. Owned it for over 2 years now and no issues.

Excellent one and it has reduced my electricity bill very much. Affordable air conditioner with 100% satisfaction. It keeps my bed room really cool than the central unit.

This was a game changer this summer. Our kitchen gets so hot in Summer that it is unbearable. This worked like a charm and provided the relief we needed.

In my opinion for small or medium sized rooms it is very good but it takes time to cool well, very good because you can move it anywhere.

Works great! Love having this on while i sleep. I love the auto feature! Keeps my room at a perfect temp. Its also not that loud compared to other window units.
