After many hours of operation at the highest fan and cooling levels, this unit only manages to chip away at a few degrees. Literally. It took my room from 82 F to 77 F, and then no matter how long you let this thing run, it never gets any cooler in the room. It just sucks up electricity at the highest setting, just barely maintaining 77 degrees. The air that comes out of this thing doesn't even feel cold. It's like, "kind of cool," but nothing like what a real air conditioner feels like. I tried putting the until on "auto" and it cycled down to low fan speed, and the room started getting HOTTER. It's pretty terrible and largely useless. And of course it wasn't hot enough for me to try using until after the return period expired, so now I'm stuck with this energy devouring monster of an air conditioner.
