This has a excellent compact and durable design. The cable and charger are USB type C with a long 6 foot cord. The prongs fold for packing in laptop bag, briefcase, etc. to prevent damage while packed. It is packaged as fast charging for Samsung phones, to my surprise my OnePlus phone shows fast charging with the charger and cable combo. Just to be clear it is not Vooc, SuperVooc, etc. Just a fast charge. But it still charges the phone at a good rate. The cable is a good quality braded cord with a solid well built connector. The cable is roughly 6 foot in length. The charger is well built also. I have not noticed any temperature changes like some other non-official chargers. This is a great and affordable all around charger for phones and tablets. It does not supply enough power to do anything more than slow charge most laptops or Chromebooks. I would definitely recommend, while not as fast as "official" chargers, it performs at a great level. Unlike the Samsung branded charges, this will also fast charge some other brands.

This item did not charge my son's phone as expected. He immediately complained about the speed of charging.

This stopped working in less than 3 months. The cable still works, but the power brick is dead. Maybe I just got a defective one. I'm very disappointed with this product.

No good item very slow charger.........don't waste your money

I have been using the Insignia wall charger for several days while traveling and it has been fantastic for my purposes. The folding prongs are a little stiff at first but they loosen up some with use. The block itself is compact enough that it fits in the plugs on hotel lamps easily and if used in a duplex outlet, it doesn't cover the second outlet so it stays open for any other charging needs you might have. The 25 watt rating seems about right which gives fast charging speeds on everything I have plugged into it. So much better than lesser versions that only have five or ten watts in similar form factors. The six foot cord is plenty long enough to reach behind furniture and still give you some slack to move your device around. The cable itself is not too stiff and it feels well made which is important to me considering the abuse cords tend to get when being packed and unpacked quite often. I also really like that it has an attached cord wrap so when it's time to pack up, you don't have to worry about the cord getting all tangled up on itself or wrapped around other things in your bag. Definitely a handy charging solution which meets my needs perfectly.

This Insignia 25W wall charging kit is a great solution for anyone needing a 6ft USB-C cable for their phone or tablet. I’m partial to longer cables and a 6 ft, 60W cable is a great option to have. I use a lot of tech on a daily basis so having a quality charger for my charging station is a must. I’m constantly needing to charge phones, tablets, headphones, cameras, etc. Over the weekend, I used this charger for my Google Pixel phones and Apple iPad. Happy to report that it worked well, just as expected. I own other Insignia products as well and I’ve never really had an issue with any of their charging boxes or cables. In fact, I gravitate toward the Insignia branded ones when I need a charger on-the-go because I know they are rated to successfully charge my devices. From the plug folding feature on the box to the stylized braided finish on the cable, this whole combo is quite neat. It packs up really well - I already mentioned the plug folds down, but the cable also comes with a silicone-type tie (which I prefer over hook-and-loop style ties). This cable is USB-C to USB-C so just keep in mind that the box itself has a USB-C connection. This charger is capable of “fast charging”, but the phone or device has to be receptive to this. I tested charging on two Google Pixel phones. On a Pixel 8 that was turned on, it went from 50% to 80% in 26 minutes. While on a Pixel 7 that was turned off, I went from 92% to 95% in about 15 minutes. I can only assume that the Pixel 7 was not receptive to fast charging due to it being turned off or was possibly on adaptive charging at the time. Overall, this is a good quality charging kit and I’m glad to have it for my compatible USB-C devices. It will mostly live at my charging station on a shared desk, but I’ll definitely be taking it with me when I travel the few times a year that I do.
