We purchase these speakers to connect to an old reel to reel tape player. We tried several other speakers but all of them had too much bass. These speakers are a bit on the larger side but they had adjustable treble and bass, so we decided to give them a try. They connected easily enough and the sound was great. Having the adjustable bass and treble really made a difference during playback. The only thing I would change is that you need the remote to turn on after turning power switch on. Other than that we are very happy with the purchase.

Bought this to pair with a turntable and is sounds amazing. It has a full sound. These speakers have Bluetooth connectivity so you can listen to any Bluetooth device.

This sounds great and is easy to connect to. It also has rca inputs so you can hook up an auxillary input to it.

For the price I was hoping for slightly better sound quality, but I’m still satisfied. I’m using these as beefy speakers for my desktop computer set up. Plenty loud and the Bluetooth works well. But for the size of the speakers I was hoping for better quality. I think they sound like good computer speakers, not anything super high fidelity. Fits my use needs, but I’m better for the price there has to be something a little better out there. Maybe I’m wrong...

Bluetooth works well! Also has exceptional bass for what they are and sound good no cheap plastic housing either! Plus got a good price for being a student

Setup was easy. Needed to select source through the remote. Manual selection wasn't obvious. Quality sound works well with smart phone and phonograph.

Not what i was expecting but still nice speakers for a bathroom or small rooms. Got for a discounted price of $70. Wouldnt recomend for MSRP.

These paired set of powered speakers are a great replacement for speakers in our family room. We had a pair of mounted SONY speakers that were a part of a 7.1 system matched with out 4K TV. The SONY speakers were accidently blown out. These Insignia's are great. Self powered means a better control of the sound flow in any 5.1 through 7.1 system, Great buy for people into Surround Sound!

We bought these for our bike shop showroom. We installed them on opposite sides of the room (connecting with a longer speaker wire we purchased separately). The room is about 1,500 sqft and the sound quality is amazing. Very clear sound, no matter where you are standing in the room.
