These would be an excellent upgrade from a sound bar or computer speakers. They are loud enough to use in a garage, kitchen or other room that has a lot of noise and still be heard clearly. If you can get them on sale, when you hear them you will immediately start thinking of other places you could use a pair and want to buy more.

We had trouble hearing our TV without turning it very high. With these bluetooth speakers next to our chairs, problem solved. They were easy to set-up and with the remote that comes with it life is good.

One pair went bad after about a year but I had the service plan so Best Buy replaced them. These seem well built, have several ways to connect and are fairly clear/nice sounding (I'm picky for clarity). However, if you are looking for something really loud, I'd look elsewhere. I don't know that you can find anything better for the price when they are on sale.

A pet peeve annoyance with many products that come with cords: the power cord was ridiculously short. Had to get an extension cord to plug it in. The other annoyance is that it didn't come with a manual or even show a link where to get one. Had to search for one. I assume that one is just a miss for mine as I didn't see any other complaints about that.
