Perfect Size Wine Refrigerator
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We picked this up as a component for an upcoming kitchen remodel. I'm not sure if having 29 bottles of wine on-hand is indicative of a problem, but we will do our best to fill it up! Much of our wine is stored at room temperature and in spite of what some might say that is not the optimal temperature for red wine. Since we primarily only drink red wine we didn't have to worry about having dual zones to keep our wines at different temperatures. The internet says 55-65* F for red and 45-55* F for white. The Insignia claims a 41-64* F range which will meet the requirements for both. Build quality seems good especially at this price point. The noise level isn't too bad and I imagine once we get it installed between the cabinets it will be virtually silent. Temperature control stays pretty consistent as measured with my BBQ ambient temperature probe. I didn't see any huge fluctuations during the time I was monitoring it. I'm sure if it was full of wine those fluctuations would be even less. This will be a great addition to our new kitchen and look forward to filling it up and entertaining!

Posted .Hello Joseph, thank you for sharing your review with us, we’re sorry to hear that your Insignia – 29 Bottle Wine Cooler with ENERGY STAR Certification isn’t cooling properly and that the compressor only turns on when first plugged in, we understand how frustrating it must be to have the unit stay at room temperature instead of maintaining the correct cooling levels. Our support team can take a closer look at what’s causing this and go over troubleshooting steps or available options with you at 1‑877‑467‑4289 or by email at Insignia@bestbuy.com. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. Darshan | Insignia
