There Are Drawbacks

Well for one, another thing it does not mention is when you may wash your hand or they are dry to a point even after installation registering your fingerprints are difficult and still has trouble unlocking. Before this screen protector unlocking with fingerprint was a breeze. Funny thing is this is the only other screen protector reasonably priced for Best Buy. I am not going to spend maximum $40 from a $100 when you can find the same one on Amazon for almost half the price if you want to get that expensive. I feel like due to using my Best Buy Gift certificates, I can't get those back after using them towards this purchase.

Furthermore, the metal ring from my Qi2 charger is positioned directly on the phone's back to ensure optimal fast wireless charging, as some cases interfere with this functionality.

I got something that failed with my last phone and my screen was scratched from use. Insignia is Best Buy's brand and came in a two pack with excellent instructions and all the materials to install. So far, so good!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After opening the very expensive Zagg screen shield I expected to see something like a hard plastic similar to those used on flat S23 & 23+ now that the screen is flat but was very surprised to find flimsy plastic sheet so I decided to try the insignia after seeing the words glass. So far I've had no real problems with the fingerprint sensor. The smooth surface of the glass sheet makes swyping very easy and won't circum to "self healing" knicks and oily fingerprints. Yes the sheet only covers the lit portion so you could say it's not edge to edge, if it were, most cases would touch causing it to lift and loose adhesion. 2 in a pack, if it does crack you have a replacement. Hope over time my review won't change because the benefits are awesome.

The screen protector doesn't cover my phone entirely, and the fingerprint scanner never works with this on. Those issues are enough to prevent me from ever purchasing this brand again. However, it's not a complete waste because it has kept my phone screen protected from scratches.

But even after deregistering fingerprints and reregistering once protector was installed as stated in the instructions, the fingerprint lock only works about 30% of the time. Very annoying.

If you want top of the line quality, this isnt going to be your go-to. But as for temporary tempered glass protection, not bad.
