    according to its size this Mini Fridge has a lot of spaces to have food, drink and other items on it. its cooling is very good and for its size it is suitable for a small space. for myself I put it under my desk in my office.

    The top two corners were smashed and damaged, a lot of scratches and stains inside and outside. The customer service never answered my phone call. I will never ever buy anything here. 'Bestbuy' is actually the worst buy!

    Product was dented when I box was opened. Very disappointed this was a gift for my son when he moved into his dorm today. Unfortunately, he needs it today so I can not re-box it and take it back. Very disappointed his first ever mini fridge is damaged. I usually buy Best Buy for quality and their excellent return policy.

    I just purchased this mini fridge for my son’s dorm room. The freezer started leaking the next day to the refrigerator. I’m just glad the return time frame didn’t pass.

    NEGATIVES: I had the fridge shipped to me, and the first one came damaged. Called up support for an exchange - and the second one came damaged too. The packaging was fine so the problem is lack of quality checks. Bottom line: it's bad business to sell damaged goods - which has now happened twice for the same product. In addition to visible issues (see pics), there were structural problems with the middle hinge where the two doors are connected. The screws holding it in weren't tight - so I took a screwdriver to tighten it, but the screw just kept turning! Over time, the doors would've come loose and the fridge wouldn't have been able to keep the cold in. The replacement fridge that came a week after had sharp metal pointing outward from damage caused by a machine, which could pierce into your skin and cause bleeding. Not wanting to wait 30 minutes on a support call and another week for a replacement for the replacement, I went and fixed it myself with a metal file. Maybe Best Buy should pay me for doing repairs on their mistakes. One other thing: the box for this fridge is bottomless and is held together by industrial strength "rope". Once that rope is cut, it's next to impossible to repackage it safely, and using tape is like using band-aids. Not good for a normal consumer when it comes to returns. POSITIVES: Customer service was very helpful once I got them on the phone. An exchange was arranged and I was issued a return shipping label with UPS. The weird thing was, FedEx swung by a few days later wanting to make a pick-up of this unit... This Insignia freezer/fridge has enough space for one person's needs. The freezer does a good job keeping food frozen and makes little ice cubes no problem. The lower fridge has enough room for some cold drinks, take out containers, and some vegetables if you like to cook (see pic). Jars, condiment and beer bottles won't fit (like a 1 lb jar of marinara sauce or soy sauce/hot sauce bottles) so keep that in mind. You could lay them on their sides if you don't mind them rolling around though. This is a very quiet unit. Some fridges make a loud rattling noise every time they turn on, but not this. Super satisfied with the low noise levels. QUESTIONABLES: There's noticeable condensation drip on the inside back wall, so you don't want to any food/objects leaning against it. That water collects on the bottom and goes down a drain, but that drain got blocked as the water froze into a layer of ice! It must get really cold in there. The outsides of the fridge feel cold to the touch (front, top and back) while the left and right sides feel really hot. Is this normal? Or is there not enough insulation? I'm suspicious because of all the other problems I've encountered; who's to say that some assembly line worker wasn't half asleep as he was filling in material that keeps the cold temperatures in? VERDICT: Overall, a good performer (so far). But it's only been a week so will have to keep an eye on it for longevity.

    The interior shelves and compartments are a great feature on this fridge. I bought this three weeks ago, online for pickup, and I picked it up the next day. I got an "open box" one (i.e. scratch and dent discount). The doors don't close smoothly but I attribute that to the discount. Funny story... I think the guys at the pickup spot didn't run the purchase correctly. I keep getting robo emails from bestbuy dot com telling me my fridge is ready for pickup and they'll hold on to it for a few more days. The web portal interface is terrible... there's no way to send an email explaining that I already have this fridge, nor do the menu options have anything resembling that. I tried adding alternate pickup persons using joke names like fname "I picked this up a week ago" lname "and I brought it home," but alas, nobody noticed. I clicked on the "live chat" and explained everything, using the order number (of course) and including the joke name thing... I suspect it's not a live chat but an AI chatbot because it responded "As you need to change the pickup person for an order. Am I right?" After that we got disconnected. Then again, the awkward grammar makes me wonder if it is a real person, just one who barely speaks English (there were other mistakes, spelling and grammar, in the other responses). So I figured I'd now try a third strategy of trolling by online review. Maybe I'll win the gift card sweepstakes!! I uploaded a couple of pictures to improve my odds. The only other thing I haven't tried is clicking the "I'm at the store" link in the robo emails. Maybe I'll try that. As of the latest, I just extended the pickup window by another week, now fully 25 days after I picked up the fridge. 5/5 would definitely recommend

    i bought this fridge back in 2021 when i was moving into college and ive used it every day since. it’s so amazing i love the separate fridge and freezer. it is so spacious and i literally use it so much. Ive since moved off campus and i have a real fridge, but this is perfect for putting mealpreps or quick snacks in. it holds SO MUCH and it’s super easy to clean. i’ve had zero problems with this fridge— no leaks or anything— and ive moved many times over the years. this fridge is basically indestructible and i honestly love it so much. this was an absolutely amazing purchase.

    This mini fridge helped us set up a space for a family member that couldn't get to the kitchen any longer. It wasn't hard to swap the doors to open on the right side. I did pick up a riser to keep it off of the carpeted floor, placed a small microwave on top but needed to strap it to the wall after that as it was a bit top heavy. It keeps frozen stuff frozen and the lower section while somewhat shallow works well. The door slots seem to only work with 12oz cans as longer water bottles don't allow the door to close. To be fair, I didn't try it with 16oz cans so they may or may not work, the water bottles that I tried were the 16.9oz ones. Anyway, looks nice and works well. I love the cute little ice cube tray and ice scraper for frost (neither of which has been used yet) because they're so tiny.

    Not the prettiest, but it gets the job done

    In terms of function, it works perfectly fine. Keeps my fridge items cold, but not too cold, while keeping my freezer items appropriately frozen. Not obtrusively loud. The refrigerator door does need to be pushed all the way closed to correctly seal, however. My only complaints are cosmetic in nature. I did buy an open-box item, so it’s not a huge deal, but there were multiple dents and scratches on the fridge. The freezer door is also a bit skewed, but none of these things seem to affect the function. I don’t notice any leakage of cold air or fluid, and everything inside is preserved as it should be.
