    Worked Great but Didn’t Last

    We bought this fridge 4 years ago; came home today to water on the floor; thought it had maybe accidentally been unplugged but no, it is dead - not cooling top or bottom. Not good quality for a 4 year old fridge kept inside our house. I have another one of a different brand I’ve had for about 10 years and it’s still chugging along. Will not buy this brand again.

    Not cooling at all even at the coldest setting

    Purchased new a few days ago, the top corner of the box was crushed in when picked it up at Best Buy, but no sign of damage on the frig surface. Waited 24 hours to plug in and followed the instruction and turned it up to the coldest at least 2 hours; then turn it down to 4. Left 2 thermometers inside without any food over night and checked inside temp and found only 45℉ the next morning. Furthermore, left at coldest setting 7 for 24 hours, still got only 41℉ the next morning. These temp are not as cold as frig should be. This frig is not safe for food and absolutely useless.

    Constant frost issue

    I cannot believe Insignia put their name on this product or, that I purchased it. The Power is low. The frost in the freezer as well as the refrigerator is overwhelming and, requires constant attention. As I am currently living on a truck to RV conversion; this purchase is a serious problem for me until I can replace it with a refrigerator with the same depth and width.

    Didn't work, dorm room

    Ordered and received the fridge on Aug 5th, and moved my daughter into her dorm on the 22nd. Plugged in this brand new fridge, nothing. Only the light came on. My daughters dorm is 2 hours from the closest best buy. And it was 2 days past the time we could just return it. :-( We now wait for Insignia to escalate this and 'repair' under the manufacuture warrenty. NOT HAPPY, but something else!

    Smells horrible, leaking flammable gas.

    The fridge was a present to my boyfriend. It was working fine until it didn’t. It started to leak this horrible rotten egg smell. Come to find it was gas that was flammable. Please make sure you get the warrenty.

    Don't buy.

    I never care to leave reviews, but I'm so mad. This thing "worked" for THREE DAYS. The fridge never got lower than 41 degrees. On the fourth day it had completely stopped working overnight. I had to throw away all my food. Now I have to deal with lugging this piece of garbage back to best buy.

    At its coldest (7) the fridge section still does not chill food properly. Also frost in little freezer. Would not recommend.

    Fridge didn’t even last 1 year and rhey refused to honor the warranty because I had a technician diagnose the issue. I wouldn’t purchase another Insignia fridge If it was the last one on earth!
