It works okay. It has a little bit of clicking and static but overall its plays good. I would recommend it if you have an older system and no ox cord outlet.

I actually ended up returning it. Not because it was faulty, but I had an aftermarket head unit installed. From what I experienced, the audio quality was decent, but I prefer the monster equivalent.

The tape works just as I thought it would, initially had some trouble with the first tape I bought, so I exchanged it for a new one and the new one has been working great. Very easy to plug and play.

For years I was lamenting not being able to listen to my iPhone music, MP3, because my car was so old, a 2001 Mercury Sable Wagon. It not only doesn't have Bluetooth but no CD. I was another store, Brookstone, talking about Bluetooth speakers when the salesman there told me about a cassette insert. So I got one from Best Buys and tried it and it works fine. However I haven't listened to music in the car for such a long time that I haven't been using this much for my short trips....Feel a little foolish because it was available the whole time...

We have an older car without Bluetooth. This adapter allows us to connect an ipod with all of our tunes so that we can listen through the radio speakers.

The sound quality is pretty good. The only thing that sucks about this is that it won't fit the otter case headphone opening. I have to take off the case overtime I want to listen to apps in my car.

Works for my purposes since I have an old car and it still has a tape deck. I don't have Bluetooth in the car and now I can listen to music from my phone on my car radio.

    Does it's job

I'm one of those people that love listening to new music. Unfortunately, my car is so old that it doesn't have a connector for my iPhone. I heard about this product through a friend, and decided to try it out. I would say that it does it's job and I haven't had any problems so far (I've had it for a couple weeks now). One tip is that if you want the best sound quality, it's best to put the volume on blast on your iPhone/mp3/smart phone and NOT the car's stereo. If you blast the car stereo instead, you might hear more static noise than you'd like.

My previous car was a much older model and I was constantly wanting to listen to my music. This cassette helped me do just that, it lasted for literal years and I used it every single day!

For a tape deck, it sounds pretty good.

At first I was afraid that the tape deck wouldn't be very loud. When I first popped the tape in, I could hardly hear anything and had to crank the volume all the way up. Then I realized that even though the mode was on "tape" in my car, it wasn't "playing" so it was just barely coming through the speakers, when I ejected the tape and pushed it back in, the sound was much more clear and audible - user error there. I also found that the volume on the mp3 player needs to be set on a medium level and no higher, or the sound will be raspy and buzz through and won't sound clear. As long as you are using some brains and use the product correctly, the sound should be fine.

The sound quality is by no means up to par with blue tooth. But what can you expect when plugging into an analog cassette deck. For the price it does it’s job well.

Every since I learned how to use my tape player in my car to play my iPod I haven't listened to a radio station in years. Just don't leave the adapter in the car on hot days and it's all good.

This was a great buy even if you could probably find it cheaper online. Only problem I had was that you heard a scratchy noise coming out of the speakers. Solution: put your phone volume all the way up and use the car volume to adjust accordingly.

this works just like your listening to the radio from any device that plays music and has a mini jack - its cheaper and has no static or frequency issues like the radio frequency transmitters all do - plug and play for almost half the price - perfect for cruising down the road if you have an older stock stereo in the car with a cassette player - this is the perfect solution - I gave it to my sister with an iPod and she just loves it - no special instructions just plug and play - its great

Yes, you can here the tape clicking if you don't set the volume correctly or if there is no music playing but if you use it correctly, set the phone's volume lower and the car's volume higher, it sounds great. Shut the thing off or take it out if you want silence. Simple to use, unpackage it and stick it in the tape slot, plug it in to your headphone jack, and you're done. It's easy, it's cheap, and it WORKS.

My vehicle is a 2002 and does not have a place to plug your phone in. This cassette tape allows me to use my music on my phone, listen on my car speakers and it sounds pretty good.
