Great if you have a non working CD Player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We don't usually write reviews due to the fact that we are a very private family however, seeing as how we trust Best Buy we decided as a family to go ahead and write this review as this item works great for us as our CD player in our automobile doesn't work & we just use this with our iPhone & it is like our CD player is working however, it is much better because we don't have to be concerned about CD's getting too warm or hot in our automobile.

Now I can jam to the latest hits from my mobile phone in my old car! You see, I dont have bluetooth because the piece of crap that I drive doesnt have bluetooth. In fact, back in my cars prime days, blue tooth was just a phrase to make fun of someone with ugly teeth... like Paul Strasky from high school. His teeth were so bad, not why he even smiled back then. He'd be better off sewing his mouth shut. I sure do miss old "blue tooth Paul."

Cassette input adapter that really works!

I use a portable Sirius receiver in my car and have frustratingly had to use the FM transmitter in the unit because every cassette adapter I've tried was worse than the weak FM transmitter. Well....I tried ONE more adapter, this Insignia adapter and viola!, I now have the clearest and loudest Sirius reception that I have ever had!

The adapter works but I wish they had put some sound dampening foam inside as hearing the cassette’s spindles spinning is pretty loud.

You’re probably saying something like “ok google what is a cassette” right now but trust me there is a huge difference.. the device itself works just fine and I’m probably gonna get me another one soon before they’re all gone

It'd be nice if the cord wasn't so long, but that's a small grievance that doesn't really matter. I didn't think companies made these anymore, so I'm so grateful to BestBuy for carrying it! It made my long road trip in my old car much more enjoyable! ^_^
