Well. I found myself in the position of needing one of these. In the past, my tape decks struggled with these, often trying to flip it to side B because of poor design. This one doesn’t seem to have that problem. It continuously rolls without snagging and forcing a side B flip.

It sounds great in my older boomboxes that don't have an aux input. The only negative is it is too quiet in the tape deck in my vehicle, which is what I originally bought it for, the heads maybe need to be cleaned?...but, still for the price I wouldn't return it as it does work well in 2 out of 3 things I use it for.

Great, economical, sound quality is very good! Best option opposed to replacing your car stereo.

I compared the Insignia cassette adapter to the Car and Driver cassette adapter and they both worked equally well. The option of mounting a new deck in my car with a faulty CD player became very costly and this worked just fine as a alternative. Very nice indeed....

For those of you (like me) who utilize a car cassette tape deck to play music off your phone, this works about as well as you can expect. For optimal sound up the volume to 50% or so on your phone and use the car stereo to control the volume. If you try to crank up the volume on the phone the sound comes out distorted.

If you need an aux cord, but your car only has a tape player to go off of, this is what you need! It works perfectly, and is easy to use. Just plug the tape into the tape player, put the cord into your mobile device, and then you can play music, podcasts, etc. through your car's speakers!

Sound is great. It is is a basic item that makes it easy to listen to music on your phone.
