It draws less than 2 amps which gives me more than 16 hours on my portable battery power system before needing to recharge with solar panels. I bought this fridge without a freezer in order to have more refrigeration space for essential items, especially during power outage from a hurricane, which usually lasts about five days. I run it on the battery system during the night, and while charging with 200 amps of solar panels during the day.
