It runs cold as I have it set on "4" and not more! Of course, it was the great price offered by "Deal of the Day" that prompted the purchase; otherwise I doubt I would have bought it. I WOULD recommend it to a friend, but the cost criteria would be up to him to decide.

I have it in the garage and it does a great job even with the hot days of 105 degrees. I thought It would not be able to gangle the heat but all the drink remain nice and cold.
