    It has a nice solid top door with an on/off switch. That is what it wanted. I got this to keep cats from getting into my desk garbage during the night. I turn off the switch and they cant open it. Only drawback is the size. You don't realize how big 3 gallons is until you see it. It holds a very small amount of trash or bottles/cans.

    Solid trash can and perfect for the home gym where it's currently being used. I really like the automatic lid opening and closing. That feature alone makes it well worth it. I can wipe down the equipment and toss the wipes without having to physically touch the trash can. Great product!
