It’s good but very sensitive to anything in its way. It also tends to stay open which is annoying. Thought like the other, after a few seconds it would close.

Other reviews mention that they have to get very close to the sensor for the lid to open. Maybe they've worked on it since that hasn't been the case here.

I love that it only needs one battery. Seals well. Threw a bag of popcorn in it, the smell was only noticeable when opened. I'd love to get a large kitchen sized one.
