I love the idea of not having to touch the trash can and it makes it a little more sanitary. Let me tell you that every time someone walks past it, it will open. Overall amazing product.

It is more sanitary that an open wastebasket with paper towels exposed. The electronic eye for opening the lid works well.

The automatic lid works as advertised and is quiet. Easy enough to change bags. We only use it for dry trash.

No issues so far with the automation and as a trash can should it holds trash. I got it on sale also so that helps.
