I still chose to give this item a try. It’s definitely slow opening and a little off on the sensor. But it can be placed in a stay open position. Which would avoid all of that. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.

Doesn’t always same to want to open when you wave you hand across sensor. Even after putting new batteries in. Lid will just stay open sometimes until I manually close it

Good for kids, touchless so that helps. I find the littler larger one is better if you are not a fan of emptying the can every few days.

It get annoying sometimes as it senses anything over the top and opens up every time. It is actually decent and does not exceed my expectations.

I actually ordered a bigger one when it was in sale,but when ai got it from Best buy,packaging was really bad. It's like old item bought from craigslist used item ,so I returned it.

Looks nice, and the auto open and close feature works well. But it does not seal as well as our regular step cans, and does not have a lift-out liner.
