Good but does t charge the ear buds. Sucks it’s not a good product

This is a very nice look and stylish charging stand. The base has rounded edges in the front and back, and chamfered shiny lines along the left and right. It looks very premium. The included cable is long enough to allow for various placements (for example on a desk top, with a plug that is a few feet away). I’m using this with an iPhone 13 Mini, and the charging is incredibly fast. There are three modes to the charge, which are cycled through by pressing the button on the top of the base. There is a fan on the MagSafe connector, which helps to keep the device cool when charging at high speeds. The button on the base cycles through the modes - fastest charging (where the fan is audible, but not loud), fast charging (where the fan is almost silent), and regular charging (where the fan is off). It also holds an apple watch, and I’ve had no problems keeping it in place. The apple watch charging also seems faster to me. There is a pad on top of the base for AirPods (or other wireless earbuds). I’ve used it to charge AirPods and a set of Jabra earbuds. Both work very well. This is a good value for a premium and powerful charging stand.

If you own an iPhone from the past few years, than (hopefully) you're familiar with MagSafe, Apple's magnetic accessory and charging solution built into the back of your device. While things got off to a slow start, MagSafe-compatible accessories from a variety of third-party manufacturers are becoming widespread, especially when it comes to charging. With Apple offering magnetic charging on both the iPhone and Apple Watch -- and both devices still requiring daily charging -- it makes sense to offer charging solutions for both devices in one accessory. Insignia has jumped into the fray with this 3-in-one charging stand for iPhone, Apple Watch and a third qi-compatible device like Apple AirPods. This model distinguishes itself from other brands with the inclusion of Insignia's "Turbo+" cooling technology, which aims to boost charging speeds by circulating air through vents in the phone charging puck, by way of a small internal fan. If you've ever handled your iPhone while charging you've probably noticed it's often warm to the touch, a phenomenon amplified by the physics of wireless charging. The warmer the phone, the slower the charge. If you're familiar with wireless charging, MagSafe or not, you've likely found it slower than wired charging, often much slower. The fastest way to charge an iPhone still means using a USB-C to Lightning cable and a higher wattage charging brick. That being said, the convenience of wireless charging is undeniable, and for those of us like myself that prefer to pop their phone on a charger at bedtime, charging speed might take a backseat to convenience and simplicity. As someone with an iPhone, Apple Watch and wireless earphones that all need regular charging, a combination device has long made sense to me. I chose this Insignia model because of its attractive looks and relative compactness; it looks great on my nightstand and doesn't take up a lot of tabletop space, and it combines two of my most frequently-used chargers. The other big reason I went with this model is that it offers certified MagSafe and Apple Watch charging. All chargers are not created equal, and if you want the highest charging speeds and guaranteed compatibility, you'll want to choose a charger that advertises "Made for MagSafe" and "Made for Apple Watch." Unboxing this Insignia charging stand was a simple affair, with a minimum of packaging, very little plastic and no paper instruction manual, which I did find a tad surprising. Instead, instructions for use are printed on the inside flap of the box, with pictograms standing in for words. Luckily using the charger is pretty foolproof, but if you're looking for details, you might want to consult the Insignia or Best Buy websites. The charger is sleek and simple, with a rectangular aluminum-finished base, chrome arms and white charging pads and power cord. While I wish I had this unit in black, the silver and white finishes are classy and look the part of a quality charging stand. Two bonuses with this specific model include an adjustable angle for the iPhone MagSafe charging puck and a flat, rubberized qi-compatible charging area built into the base. I like that the qi charging pad is flat but grippy, as this allows you to use it with a variety of devices, whereas other charging stands with divots for the qi pad limit the types of devices you can charge. One knock against this Insignia stand is that it uses a non-standard power cord that's permanently attached to a large-ish power brick. Thankfully you can unplug the cord from the base, in case one or the other goes bad, but at this price point I wish Insignia had gone with a standard USB-C connection. This opens up options for different cord lengths and charging block sizes, and allows for their individual replacement. With USB-C quickly becoming standard it's annoying to have manufacturers still using non-standard cables and power bricks. Setup is as simple as plugging in the power cord and power brick and snapping my iPhone and Apple Watch to their respective charging pucks. Being a MagSafe-certified charger my phone did the special charging animation reserved for true MagSafe chargers, which in addition to being fun also confirms that my phone has access to the full 15W charging speeds of MagSafe (uncertified chargers are limited to slower speeds). Unfortunately, while the Apple Watch puck is certified, it can only charge at the standard 2.5W speed, rather than the higher 5W speeds available on Series 7 Watches and newer. It's a bit puzzling that Insignia took the time to embed the fastest MagSafe technology but didn't include the fastest Apple Watch charging tech. I find myself with an empty Watch battery far more often than an empty phone battery, and I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one. The qi pad can charge at up to 5W, which works well for small devices but would be pretty slow for phones. So what about that "Turbo+" cooling technology? Well, it works as advertised: tapping a small circular button on the charging stand's base activates the cooling fan when your iPhone is connected. One tap sets the fan to its maximum speed, indicated by a solid ring around the button; a second tap activates a "quiet" mode with a reduced fan speed, indicated by a pulsing ring around the button. Without lengthy, controlled comparison testing I can't tell you whether activating Turbo+ results in a measurably faster charge, but I can tell you my iPhone 13 Pro charged from 51 percent to 79 percent in 30 minutes with Turbo+ activated -- a speed that was certainly faster than I expected, and more than fast enough to ensure my phone would be even if I only spent a few hours asleep. So what about using this stand in a dark bedroom while you're sleeping? If you're anything like me and in search of a dark, quiet bedroom, using Turbo+ at night is far from ideal. Both fan speeds are clearly audible, even from a few feet away, and the Turbo+ button ring remains lit whenever the fan is on. Even more confusingly the "quiet" fan speed comes with a pulsing light ring, which is arguably even more noticeable than a solid glowing ring. If you place the charger on your bedside table, you're going to both see and hear Turbo+ working, making Insignia's marquee feature largely unusable for folks needing a dark, quiet room for sleeping. Thankfully, deactivating Turbo+ results in no light from the light ring, although I have noticed the charger makes a faint clicking/buzzing sound at all times, whether charging devices or not. This would normally be a deal-killer for me, but I can't hear it unless I'm relatively close to the charger, and the quiet woosh of air from my air purifier easily drowns it out. Still, it's something to be aware of if sounds like this bother you while you're trying to sleep. Overall, this Insignia Wireless Charging Stand is well-made, attractive and dead-simple to use. It offers certified MagSafe charging for your iPhone and certified Apple Watch charging as well, albeit not at the absolute highest speeds available to the latest Apple Watch models. There's a third qi-compatible pad for your headphones or other devices, and the entire package is compact and sturdy. That being said, using the Turbo+ feature introduces both noise and light into the charging experience, which depending on your use case and personal preferences might be negligible or might be a dealbreaker. At this price point I would absolutely trade Turbo+ for a standard USB-C power plug situation, which would offer users more options than the nonstandard power cord and power brick and make replacing a failed power cord or power brick down the road much easier.

Initial review thoughts - very well constructed, boxed well and really impressed with first impressions. I unboxed and set up the stand and immediately ran to get my Iphone 13 pro, airpod pros and apple watch. Everything worked to be expected, I am able to replace 3 individual chargers on my nightstand with this one! No more wireless phone charger, apple watch charger and usb plug for my airpods. My one concern is I use the Quadlock system for mounting my phone on my bike and in my truck for road trips. The way this phone case is designed with the twist and lock centered on the back of the phone, it does not work with this phone charger. I did validate with my wife's phone and case that it did work so this is exclusively a QuadLock case issue. I would confirm if you have a case that is part of any system where it adds a mounting system or wallet using the maglock technology that might cause the charger not to keep the phone in place. Outside of this challenge with my preferred phone case not compatible, everything else worked as expected.

INSIGNIA – V50 SERIES Turbo+ 3-in-1 MagSafe Wireless Charger Stand I like the 3-in-1 charger more than I thought I would. With its magnetic locks it makes easy simultaneous charging of my iPhone 14 Pro Max (with leather case), Apple Watch ultra, and AirPod Pro 2. It sits solid on my nightstand and I can take things on and off it easily. It does have a warning beep that sounds if something is not properly aligned but after a few times of attaching / removing, you learn how to do it and never hear the beep again. I am not sure if the cooling fan on the phone charger is a gimmick or not, or how much it does with my leather case, but it is quiet and the phone does charge noticeably faster than my apple stand. What I didn't like was the dedicated non standard power brick and the chrome fashion, but I have accepted both and it has become the goto charger on my nightstand, replacing two other chargers. Pros: - Charges all 3 devices simultaneously - Charges phone quickly with a fan to promote cooling - Magnetic attachment is very secure - Solid construction - Very stable Questionable fashion faux pas: - 1950's wants its chrome back. Is it really becoming fashionable again?! Cons: - Dedicated non-standard (i.e not USB C) charger

I love this charger. I am new to the MagSafe game and was a little reluctant to grab this because all the others wouldn’t work. But I am glad I did. I love the turn feature and the fast charging. I recommend this charger 10 out of 10 times.

I absolutely love this charging station!! This is a nice Upgrade compared to the regular Apple chargers, and it fits perfectly on my night stand. It's has a luxury look and feel to it and is made well and nice and heavy. It has Magsafe charging and the stand tilts to accommodate your phone. And it has a strong magnet so it actually holds the phone and does not slip or fall (at least in my case) This is basically 3 in 1 charging because you can charge all 3 items at once (phone, AirPods and Apple Watch) And it charges quite fast! Doesn’t take forever like other after market chargers. I also like that fact that you are able to turn the station and and off with one push of a button, which is also easily accessed on the top of the station. I no longer have issues of my children stealing my phone charger, (thank goodness)! Price wise it is on the expensive side but I honestly Would recommend since it is so much easier to have my devices all charging at once and no issues with having to find a charger! I hope they make this 3-1 in a travel version too!

Overall the charger works very well. It has a very strong magnet that holds my I phone 12 in place. It was very easy to set up. It is very self explanatory on making it work with your phone and watch. The only reason why it did not receive five stars is because the magnet for the watch is not very strong at all. It does not hold my Apple Watch in place (It has a protective wrist band). However if I take the wrist band off (which is annoying) then it will charge the watch as it is supposed to do. The cooling feature of the charger is great, usually on my other magnetic chargers they do make the phone really warm to the touch, but with the cooling feature of this charger the phone is always cool to the touch (As long as you remember to turn the fan portion on of course). Really this charger is a good charger as long as you do not have a protective wristband on your Apple Watch. The charger seems to be quick at charging the phone, watch, and air pods. The design is very sleek and overall a nice addition.

I’ve had a similar product for years and it was time to replace due to it being super slow to charge the latest mobile devices. I was excited to pick up this Insignia product since it charges my iPhone 14 Pro, AirPods, and Apple Watch Ultra all at the same time. One of the unique things about this product is the ‘turbo charge’ option that physically cools all devices on the charger to optimize the wattage that can be delivered to them. I might have thought this was a gimmick when I read it, but after putting my hand on my phone after a charge it was quite cold! The design of this product makes it easy to see the devices on your nightstand - especially useful now that the 14 Pro has the always on screen. It’s also pretty stylish with the stainless steel supports and heavy plastic base. One small nag is that it’s difficult to see the led light on the turbo charge button to know whether or not it has activated. My solution is to turn off the light in my bedroom, but it should be an easy fix to make the light around the button brighter. All in all I would say this product is a great buy for the price and does everything I needed in an attractive package.

Got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. The design is so sleek and the magnets are so strong! The design is minimalistic, which he loves. It is short enough to put right under your computer monitor.

This Insignia charger has been a welcome addition to my desk for a few days and I’m really happy to have it. I had not had too much experience with this Best Buy brand aside from phone cables until I got a really good dual usb-c charger from them. The quality of that charger convinced me to give more of their products a shot. I had a phone and AirPods charger from another brand, but wanted something that would also charge my Apple Watch at my desk. I wanted something that charged all 3 quickly, didn’t take up too much space, and looked good on my desk and this charger checks all of those boxes. I love the quality and feel of the product, it’s well made, sturdy and attractive. It’s ready to go out of the box, just plug it in and you’re ready to go. I love that the iPhone charger allows me to tilt the phone to the perfect angle while it’s charging. If I need a quicker charge I use the turbo setting which works really well. There are fans on the back of the iPhone part so it doesn’t get hot, nice touch. This charges all 3 of my devices easily, quickly and it looks great. I highly recommend it.

If you have an iPhone, Apple watch, and Apple pods, this is a great all in one charging station. It is sleek, moderen, and looks great with all your electronics accessories charging on it. When not in use, I hardly notice that it is there dur to its sleek design. The magnet used to hold your iPhone works relatively well, however, if you have a very thick case, like some of the heavier duty Otterboxes, the magnet has a hard time holding the phone up. But it works just fine with the average case. It is also safe to say that I am sure it would not work if you had one of those finger loops or buttons on the back as well. If you are using your iPhone while it is charging, either by watching video or face timing, this stand comes with a cooling function that helps keep your phone from getting too hot. This is a really nice extra feature, but have not really had a need to use it yet as the phone does not really heat up while its just sitting idly and charging. I would highly recommend thisbto anyone who has multiple Apple products.

This charger is exactly what husband needed for his new iPhone. It charges wonderfully us very sturdy and extremely convenient to charge all 3 of his devices…phone, watch and ear pods.

Works really well. My only complaint is that the phone magnet could be a bit stronger. I have a 12 promax with an OtterBox MagSafe case. Just seems a little easy to pull the phone off, but definitely not a dealbreaker.
