I figure this is the case as, upon examination, the two pieces that make it up are barely soldered together correctly, if that's the right word--may not be as this is plastic rather than metal. Basically, they're barely attached together in a way that makes it durable. My experience with this product makes me question the quality of Insignia products as a whole. Very frustrating.
