Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm currently in the UK with an iPad Air 2 and my HTC 10 phone and Kindle Voyage (yes, I'm one of those weird tech mixers). Anyway, was concerned about frying my devices but the 3-port USB International Wall Charger works like a charm (well, haven't needed to charge the Kinlde yet but assuming it will be fine). Simply attached the correct plug adapter to the unit, removed the USB cable from its original charger and plugged the USB cable into the international wall USB charger and plugged it into the outlet -- works like a charm. The USB port lights up to show it's working and my phone and iPad show they're charging. Most tablets and smartphones these days are dual voltage so are built to handle a range of power (110-240v, I believe) so as long as your device falls within that range and is a dual votltage device, you'll be fine). It is not a converter, so don't use if your device is rated as single voltage and actually needs the power converted.

Unfortunately, it lasted only one day in London and then died. After traveling inside Europe, tried the other plug and it was still defective. The light would come on and no charge or power to my device. The worst part is I arrived back to the states after the small 15 day return-policy so Best Buy won't take it back. I should know better to always stick with Amazon. There is a happy ending. AMEX has a product return insurance policy built into their cards -- so they will be refunding me my purchase price.
