I recommend going with an aux cord and a seperate adapter from either google or apple. I bought three, this one was the one that i used the least and the one that broke the fastest. It melted in my car during winter, it had static in the connection. Worst buy. Its better to just grba an aux cord and a usbc adapted both together instead of just one usb c to aux cable like this one.
