Not for use with Air Pods Max

This cable has a digital to analog converter in it, which passes your audio from a USB-C audio source to a 3.5mm playback device (car, speakers, etc.). An analog to digital or bi-directional adapter would be required to connect a 3.5mm audio source to a USB-C playback device. I didn’t expect this to work with the air pods max, but gave it a shot anyway because of the low price and because best buy specifically recommended this as an air pods max accessory on the product page. I’m sure it works well to connect a phone to a car stereo or similar, but the cable is extremely thin so I would also be concerned about longevity. I’m giving this a low rating because it doesn’t work for the purpose that best buy advertised.

We plug this into the radio so we can receive music from our phones. We have multiple drivers in our family so we always have to change our settings when driving a car. With this, we can plug in our phone and go.

Great product for a cheap price!

I have a 2013 Sentra so I dont have Bluetooth connections, etc. This cord is perfect and does exactly what I need it to do. I will say the wire is pretty thin so be careful not to be too rough with it.

I did not even know this was a thing until the sales associate showed me. Everything works now.

Definitely do not use in a high wear-and-tear environment.

The wire worked for other purposes but we wanted to use this for our special need daughters headphone but it did not work. We ended up returning the item due to it not being compatible but would recommend it for normal jack input needs.
