Defective On Day One!

The left and right sides get so hot that we have to make sure our granddaughter does not go near this Insignia refrigerator we bought from Best Buy.

Beautiful, spacious, functional and quite

This unit replaced side-by-side vertical doors unit with fridge on right and freezer on left. Having fridge on top makes the unit so much easier to use with plenty of space. I probably use fridge 5x more frequently then freezer so having it on top is really allowing me to access my goods with ample space. Plus, this unit is so so so quite that I initially thought that it wasn't work! Also, it looks nice~ Hope it stays in working condition for many years to come!

This Insignia refrigerator is made by Midea

It’s a Midea model we tried to buy at Lowes but was no longer available there. Midea makes quality stuff. Love our Midea dishwasher. BUT Lowes quit carrying it, so we bought it at Best Buy where it was labeled under their “Insignia” brand. Same exact model. And using a Midea ice maker kit was a dead giveaway. I have to say this was my first experience buying from Best Buy in a long time and it was a very good one. Pros: - [ ] Largest capacity in the 30” wide class - [ ] Reasonable price point - [ ] Quiet - [ ] Energy efficient - [ ] Ice maker kit fits well - [ ] Well lit - [ ] Nicely thought out controls - [ ] Well designed ice maker Cons: - [ ] No cheese drawer - [ ] Installation instructions for the Midea ice maker were unclear and had outright mistakes.

Good fridge but defective freezer

Un happy customer
