Don't Buy This

On the plus side no complaints about how it cools. I like the light in the freezer. Like the stainless steel. On the down side this frig is very noisy. It won't shut up, all day every day. It whines, and makes whistling noises. In fifty years I've never had a refrigerator make so much noise. If course i had the repair guy come out twice. Offered to replace the fan but we both knew that was not the problem. I went back to the store two months later and tried to exchange it for a more expensive different brand, paying the difference of course. No can do because I hadn't bought the extended warranty. The original warranty was only 30 days. And the extended warranty was 25% the cost of the refrigerator. And if I had bought the warranty that would have allowed them to 'consider' my request. My only option they said was for me to contact the manufacturer, even though its their brand. Of course had I done that, the best outcome would be a replacement of the same thing. No thanks. Anyway unless you're putting this in a garage don't risk it. Needless to say I won't be doing business with Best Buy anyone. Too bad. I ysed to like them.

Best feature was that it fits the space i needed - shallow depth, at a decent price

Good deal. Whilst the fridge is basic it does its job well. The only thing was there was a problem with the delivery service. It was scheduled for a certain date and that day I received a call from Best Buy stating it wasn't going to be delivered that day. Another day had to be scheduled. When I quizzed the Best Buy representative as to why the delay she told me she had no further information given to her by the 3rd party delivery company. This flow of communication needs to be there.

Otherwise looks great and cools nicely both in freezing and normal cooling compartment. Compartments are very well lit.
