Then the noises stopped and it ran intermittently as it should. It keeps cold foods cold and frozen foods frozen. Can't more than that in a refrigerator! This is our second Insignia appliance (upright freezer) and we are happy with both!

This is a basic product without any bells and whistles, which is all I need. I'd give it five stars but the delivery and installation was substandard. I had to do the installation myself, which included leveling the refrigerator, reversing the doors and installing the drawers and shelves.

Once purchased you’re asked to schedule a delivery date. We did. Days later we reviewed our delivery date and saw a mistake regarding our address. To correct it they had to cancel our current delivery day and reschedule over a week later! I asked if they could call the store to have their staff physically edit the delivery papers and keep our current delivery day and they were completely unwilling to assist. With technology as their reason why they couldn’t do this, their computer wouldn’t allow the change. This is when a human touch and empathy would be nice to have in customer service and our future purchases. The delivery men were very professional and informative

Doors don't fully shut unless you slam them shut

Most times when you think you've shut the fridge or freezer doors, they'll be slightly open just enough so the light turns off, and so you think they're closed. But they aren't. AND since the light has shut off, the warning beep doesn't go off, it thinks it is fully shut too. But it's not fully shut, it's still slightly open. I'm disappointed in this poor design/functionality. Besides this issue, its fine. But we all have to slam it shut now to make sure that doesn't happen.

There has a closing aid structure on the door hinge to prevent door rebound, you may need a little big force which can overcome the closing aid structure deformation to close the door.

It is well lit with LED lights and the shelves can be adjusted to suit individual preferences. It does emit some weird noises, but I read that it is normal for modern, high efficiency refrigerators.

Anyway, this fridge fit our space and is great in our one bedroom condo. I love to cook and like bargains - this fridge has the space to hold it all for a two person household.
