Great product. Even has an alarm to let you know you left the door open. Just make sure you push the freezer door shut well.

Works good, good price for the fridge. We bought this for the lake cabin and wanted a good fridge for a decent price.

Everybody gets a lemon every now and again. Just seems more infrequent these days. Geek Squad delivery was on time, got into the house after they unboxed it. 5 STARS ON THE DELIVERY PART. Professional and very quick. After they left, I pulled off all the tape, and styrofoam and cardboard that was protecting the inside. Grabbed the manual and gave it a quick read. It said the frig needed to sit for a couple of hours after delivery for better cooling. ??? So I decided to wipe down the inside for a quick clean as suggested in the manual. Frig in appearance was almost perfect, there was a scuff or some kind of glue or scratch on the main door. I tried to clean that, but could not be removed. No big deal for me, this was a basement frig for backup and beverages. Wasn't concerned about appearance, color or size really. Just needed a working frig asap. (it was ordered the night before on the phone) Got her plugged in and threw two Ruuvi temp and humidity Bluetooth trackers along with a mechanical one. Then I set the temp to it's lowest possible temps and then wait for temps to drop. When the temps hit 40 degrees, I transferred my food in my main frig to this one. Temps in the main one was at 45 degrees, why I needed another frig and waiting to get that repaired. Now the new frig hit 45, same temp as the food. Took a while, but the temps started to drop. Problem right away, the temps never dropped any lower that 40 in the back. Up front of the frig by the door, it was 41. I wasn't sure what was going on. I check the temp settings, still on high. Freeze seemed cold but do not know the temps in it. Wasn't needed as of yet. I pulled the frig out from the wall more to give more breathing room to 5 -5 1/2", more than what the manual is asking for 4" space. Nothing above the frig, wire rack shelving on one side. So open air in all directions in a basement that sit around 61-62 degrees in the winter. Sadly, after giving the frig 5 days to work, I decided to call BB and return it. That was the last thing I wanted to do but needed to be done. I give BB customer service 5 plus stars. They made it so easy, all the while talking to a nationwide customer service. I had talked to at least 3 people in two days as I decided to order another brand frig from BB which had the best prices around, AGAIN I was shocked by that. So it was a no brainer buy from BB. Service was outstanding, even with not talking to the local store and figured that was going to be a nightmare. I'm just saying with the easy of order to delivery, then return and reorder couldn't have been any better. I'll be shopping there first before I look anywhere else.

The refrigerator works great. I had them come out to reverse the doors, now the fridge sounds like metal is rubbing on metal when I open and close the door. It also makes a clunk. Trying to get through to cust support 2 1/2 wait they say!

Love, love, love my new Insignia stainless steel refrigerator. It has so much more room inside than I thought. So very pleased with my purchase.

Decent fridge but no lights in the freezer and therefore quite a basic refrigerator at an affordable price!
