I purchased this air conditioner in 2023 and I am so glad I did. It was very easy to set up, it cools the room and it is almost like a quiet cool appliance. I can't imagine survival during these extremely hot temperature without it. If you are looking for an AC with excellent performance, look no further. It cools the room real fast and the remote makes it so convenient to operate it from a distance. I bought it in white, not sure if it comes in another color, and I absolutely love everything about it. I thought the price was a bit high but on the other hand you get what you pay for. It just needs to set it up near a window that opens in order to facilitate the hose. This unit comes equipped with everything needed including adjustments for the width of your window and tapes to cover any holes that would let the hot air inside. I highly recommend this Ac.

Cools area fast...useful settings...decent size..easy to roll around and easy set up. I wish it was quieter...overall happy with the purchase and price.

This portable AC saved my life in Vegas summers. I had bought this AC when I moved into my last apartment in Las Vegas. As most know, the summers and heat here are no joke, and I was unlucky enough to have the hottest room in the apartment. On top of having the hottest room, our AC broke a month into moving in and the apartment was sitting at 100 plus. I am the type that must have it super cold when I am going to sleep or I get uncomfortable, at the time it was miserable alone to be in the house due to the AC being out, along with my room being the hottest. I picked this up in hopes it would save me from borderline heat exhaustion and let me tell you.... This provided instant relief as soon as I set it up and turned it on, which was an extremely easy assemble. It would always get switched on at night and sometimes even just the fan setting during the day, as I also did not have a ceiling fan for any circulation. I have had this for over a year now and has not failed me once. This was a game changer and saved my life during these treacherous summers. Hands down would recommend this to anyone and everyone, and if I had to go back and time and do it again, would go with this company and his model all over again.

I purchased 2 Ac units and they have been working really well. Very easy to install may take up to 15 minutes. Easy to clean filter. Does come with a remote and the air vents do sway up and down and you can also stop it. The ac has and automatic option to turn off and on once it reaches the specific temperature and it has the regular on switch to keep it on with out shutting off. I run these Ac with no issues and my light bill alot lower than I had initially anticipated. I do not regret this purchase at all. Only a couple down sides I found was the tubing that goes to the window can get hot and the unit itself is a bit loud. But other than that I had no other issues. I bought two units. 1 for the front of the house keeps living room and kitchen cold, and the other keeps the 3 bedrooms cold with the assistants of a fan.

This thing has been a blessing. It lives in my office which is the only finished room in our basement and it’s senseless to run the entire system for one room. I had a swamp cooler in here but it was no good against the Georgia heat and humidity. Last thing, the noise complaints are bs, it sounds like any other AC unit. People just might not be used to it in their space. The lower the temp, the harder it blows, if you want just a hum from it, either let the room get cold and turn it up a bit so it maintains, or hit the sleep button that gives you more a the AC him that put us to sleep as kids in the portable classrooms haha.

This little AC is awesome!! LCD panel and comes with a remote. Very easy set up with all you need to vent out the window. Comes with insulation tape and all the pieces just snap together. Cooled the room off in less than 10 minutes. Bought for an extra unit to assist the house AC since it is so hot here in Texas. VERY happy with this unit!!

I purchased this air conditioner about a month ago and I absolutely love it. I havent had any issues with it so far, the only thing I would criticize is the hose length. Its about 5ft which is short, I wish it was longer. The unit is also bigger than I thought it was. I do have a towel under it in case it leaks, however it has not. Other than that, it gets cold and has many different functions, it rolls easily and came with a remote. I have already recommended this product to friends and family.

I bought this as a temporary AC unit for my master bedroom prior to getting ductless mini splits. The product was very easy to install and worked great! Only reason why I gave it 4 stars was that it was pretty noisy. Other than that, it did a wonderful job cooling my room!

Reliable! I’ve been using the Insignia Portable Air Conditioner for a few months now, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. From scorching summer days to humid nights, this unit has kept my room consistently cool and comfortable.

Does it cool? Yes! Does it make a lot of noise? Yes, it makes a good amount of noise. The one thing I don’t understand is the Air Exhaust Passage that connect to the window and lets the warm air out, is essentially just an open hole leading back into the AC unit through the Exhaust Hose. There’s no cover or screen protecting/covering the unit so 1. Everyone on the outside sees the inside of the tube and it looks really ugly and 2. It’s open, so if it rains, water can get into the tube and/or bugs/animals can also enter the tube. Granted, there’s a filter into the AC unit protecting it, but from that filter to the window is just open. Insignia, Best Buy, and the parts supplier all confirm there is no intended cover for this and essentially I would have to create my own. So beware. It definitely appears to be a design flaw. Also, look into getting warranty in case water does get into the unit from the hose.

So much nicer than a window unit. Can be moved around and turned easily. It also Has a dehumidifier. The remote control is easy to use and is a good size not too small. Installation was a snap with the enclosed extra parts. I’m sure storage will be easy also as it is on wheels.

Our air conditioner went out the other day and the part we need is on back order and won’t be in for six more days. And although it’s September, it’s still hot in South Carolina. I live in a 2500 square-foot home with 20 foot ceilings and it’s an open floor plan with the living room and dining room being the same room I didn’t think this portable air conditioner would keep it cool in here. I just thought it would keep it comfortable if it was right beside me. So I went online, did curbside pick up, very smooth transaction and came home and hooked it up. This air conditioner is amazing. I don’t write a lot of reviews. I’ll be honest I read them more than I write them. But this deserves a review. I have it set on 72° and my entire living space feels extremely comfortable. Today it’s about 82 outside and my house thermostat says 76. Just from this little portable air conditioner I have been able to be comfortable in a very large space. I told my husband it was the best $300 I ever spent.

This unit works great and is very easy to use and install. Comes with a remote control and is also a dehumidifier in addition to being an ac unit. Can wheel it around if you need to move it but need to have a window that’s close to a power supply as the vent duct isn’t very long. Worth the money.

Cools down the room quick. Little noisy but not too bad. Overall it is a good product.

My AC went out inside my home right now during the summer heat of Texas. Inside my home it is 85 degrees. Stopped by my local best buy on 4th of July to find an open box in mint condition for only $190 when retail price is $300. I was very happy about that but skeptical if it would work.. I put this inside my bedroom and set it for 72 degrees and within a fee hours my entire bedroom was cold feeling lovely! I made sure to keep my bedroom door closed at all times and followed the manual’s instructions. This is a temporary fix until i get my AC repaired for the entire house but man this is the best $190 i have spent cuz this is Texas and its July.. I aint tryna live my life like a Texas prison inmate when im out here in the free world obeying Gods commandments..

Our central A/C unit went belly up right on the beginning of summer, so we got this unit while we wait for the larger unit to be replaced. It works pretty well and was able to cool my living room and master to comfortable levels. It is just a bit noisy, like a loud fridge, but it is alright.

Bought this AC unit on sale for my apartment bedroom since the in wall AC unit is in the living room on the opposite of the apartment which never reaches the bedroom - unsure of the actual Sq. Footage but it’s a decent size room with walk-in closet. Had this setup & running w/in 15min of unboxing and w/in est. 20min the room was cold. Works very well, easy setup, multiple functions/features, display & remote very user friendly and straightforward. With all the uncomfortable sleepless nights during the summer this was well worth the investment & would recommend to others.

Unit seems to be in working order. Package came damaged- and unit seemed to be a little uneven but we were in desperate need, so I've been running it.

This is a great product if you dislike sweating. I make tictac content (coughcough NoopsIDO) when im bored, and im an uglier when im sweaty. Downside is it can be a bit annoying with it's sound, but meh. 2 years running strong.

Originally I ordered an opened box unit, but when I received it, I only got two window slides, and neither had a hole for the exhaust hose. I ended up having to exchange it for a new unit, because the parts weren't able to be ordered. The one I have now works nicely and I haven't had any issues since. It keeps the room very cool, and it only takes up about as much space as a small night stand.
