I never had a portable air conditioner before but decided to buy one so I wouldn`t have to wait for someone to install my window air conditioner and I am so glad because this one was so easy to set up by myself. The wheels were already attached and the window assembly was also easy.

Did what it was supposed to do but this Georgia weather is real pressure so it really only cooled one room for me. I had about three of these going with this one being in my kitchen

Small and compact rolls easily positioned in different areas. Works well cools the room quickly please note though it runs a little noisy. It comes with a remote control making it easy to adjust the temperature from anywhere in the room.

The temperatures have been terribly high this summer and I had to bring my three German Shepherds in my bedroom to sleep. We love it. My favourite feature is the timer. I set it and it goes off in 3 hours. I am a senior so I save on my electric bill.

Unit worked well but did not cool the 300 sq feet it promissed. It works good in the other romm we have tha is 200 sq feet.

So far, looks good! Item came in time, with no problems. Didn't check yet the AC and dehumidifier function, fan works good.

I originally bought another model that was damaged and Best Buy exchanged for this model. I am easy going so accepted the exchange. This unit is nice but pretty noisy, but works well.

We have yet to use the air conditioner function although we set it up to make sure it works, my main reason for purchasing this now was for the dehumidifier function which you can’t use right away I need to get a separate tube that doesn’t come with the system. Well using the dehumidifier function is blowing extremely hot air even though the directions say to remove the exhaust hose. So I don’t know if it’s worth having the water taken out of the air if it’s actually making it feel hotter. What the heck is up with this? I will update my review if I get an answer of how to fix this the manual doesn’t say anything. And if the AC works exceptionally well.

Works okay. Takes long to cool down a small room. Installing window AC is a bit problematic in my apartment, that's why I chose this. Otherwise a window unit would be a better option in my opinion

Keeps the bedroom clean and the dry feature is a plus.

I got this for my small room while my main A/C unit was being fixed and decided to keep it even after it was fixed for another room in the house

Meh… the unit works. I just don’t think that I got one that functions exactly the way it should. But now that the hottest part of the year is over, I will use my membership and get it repaired.

I got this a.c. unit thinking it would more efficiently cool then our window unit for the space. It really is just average and no better but is very intrusive and kind of loud.

Good quality air conditioning good for a small room

This AC is not an energy saver, loud and not cold enough. I was better off with my older AC. It’s fed average overall I would not recommend this unless you needed it asap.

Worked well. Definitely helped cool the bedroom and was easy to hook up.

This is the second Insignia portable air conditioner I have purchased for another room. I’ve been happy with the product. The reason I give it a 1 is because I cannot get any parts for it. I lost the connecting air unit that slides into slots between the air conditioner and the hose. I called Insignia. They said they don’t sell any parts.. There are no generic connectors that fit the profile of where the unit slides into the slots. Very upsetting. Air conditioner is useless right now, hence the rating of 1. Just don’t lose that part!!

Unit works well, but it does not cool a 300 sq. ft room, when it is really hot. My room is 220 sq ft. The design is a swinging vent on top, but you can stop it at whatever angle you want.

It works great but is loud and gives off a lot of water. Need to empty out the water throughout the day. We have a bucket catching the water from the tube in the back. But it does it’s job, is cheap and is easy to use.

Bought for upstairs bedroom that cant use window AC. It works, cools down the area, but i expected better cooling ability.
