Unit works well, but it does not cool a 300 sq. ft room, when it is really hot. My room is 220 sq ft. The design is a swinging vent on top, but you can stop it at whatever angle you want.

It works great. Cold air and it isn’t loud. Recommend

This AC is not an energy saver, loud and not cold enough. I was better off with my older AC. It’s fed average overall I would not recommend this unless you needed it asap.

Easy set up and runs quietly. Would recommend highly and the price is cheaper than other models

It works great but is loud and gives off a lot of water. Need to empty out the water throughout the day. We have a bucket catching the water from the tube in the back. But it does it’s job, is cheap and is easy to use.

What can I say keeps my bedroom at a very comfortable temperature. Love it

Pros are the price and it’s very quiet. The cons are it is really only effective in small rooms (10 x 10)

Solid pretty versatile AC as far as portability, but doesn’t have much fan blowing power, had to put a standing fan in front of it to get air flow

I bought it to cool my office over the summer. This was a great way to save money and not have the A/C at home on all the time. This A/C is quite silent. It was a great purchase.

Works perfect for upstairs bedroom! I wanted an ac for my upstairs bedroom, without the bulking window unit hanging out the window.. this was the perfect solution!

This air conditioner is working fine so far, except my remote is defective. It only turns the unit on and off, and the LED display on and off. It does not adjust the temperature setting, fan setting, or anything else. When I reached out to Insignia support, I was told that replacement remotes do not exist, but somehow that I should be able to "reset" the remote which didn't work. They told me that I need to return this whole 70-lb machine to the store in order to receive a functioning remote. Given what I know now, I would've chosen a different brand.

This is a unit. I would reccomend. Does put out a lot of water. Needed to empty daily

First of all, it definitely is a loud unit but that is to expected at this price point. Aside from being really good at making noise, it's pretty terrible at everything else. The included hardware for the window is also pretty useless. Of course it slides great into the window but that's where it stops. They include the cheapest Styrofoam "draft" blockers, along with about 1cm thick foam blocker with adhesive on it. DO NOT APPLY THIS NO MATTER WHAT!!! The adhesive on this thing was meant to hold the hoover dam closed. This adhesive is so strong I had to get PRO strength Goo-Gone to remove it after returning this overpriced refrigerator from the 50's. Also, this AC unit is "clipped" into the window attachment, but after you clip it in there two gaps on each side.. allowing hot air to come in. I think this unit was designed to allow hot air to come in your house, and make it run constantly giving off the effect of "cooling" but the room is 80 degrees +. so of course the "cooling" feels good. And "cooling" is STRONG word for this. Returned after using for a few days, where my bedroom actually got warmer. Nice... Nice.... NO THANK YOU

I like this portable air conditioner better than my old window unit. They are equally loud but this one is easier to install. The only thing is the tube that connects to the window seems very fragile. Be careful with the tube when you’re trying to extend it.

Blows cold air, kind of expensive for the btu. Works for kids room

Actually it's very good. It literally covers over 300sqft However, because I did get an open box, of course something is always wrong. The vent thing was a bit messed up to where I could not seal it properly. So I taped it.

My old ac died after 11 years. This one is smaller but much more powerful. Also way quieter which is is a plus
