From the day we opened the box, it pumped out cold air but it was gathering condensation at an amazing pace. I had to drain the bottom water catcher every 45 minutes to an hour, and it was full. It kept throwing up a error code. The 2 star is because best buy has a good return policy.

It was a gift for our grandson, he hasn't complained! Second floor apartment is very warm this time of year. Bought this type so he wouldn't have to hang a window unit himself.

Very disappointed. I got this at the last end of summer in NYC. Decided to go portable just in case and would love the option to switch back and forth from living room to bedroom. IT DOES NOT COOL. I was reading the reviews on this, people saying it cools there room in 10-30 min. It has been an hour and my thermostat still says 75, and I’ve been blasting it for 62 cool. I checked my door, windows even use some of the foam to prop up door cracks and windows but nothing changes the temperature. I just got it yesterday too, and have been keeping it running for 2 hours on and off to help with some heat and it doesn’t change the temperature more than 5 degrees. When you stand in front of the machine, it’s nice and cool but it disappears so quick and doesn’t seem to collect. I’ve had window AC that do the job and make you want to keep a blanket wrapped on you when it’s 101 outside but my room is not cold. Not even a sensible cold. Yea I’ll walk out to my living room and feel the difference, which is decent but honestly I wish I can return this. I can’t even offer any sentiments of small gratitude to this on why you should maybe get this. I live on the 5th floor without an elevator by myself so this was rough carrying up by myself and I don’t want to do this again. That’s the only thing stopping me from returning it right now but I would not recommend you to get this. Sad because I really like insignias other products but it seems that the air conditioner is one of those, if you’re lucky you’ll get a good unit, kind of ones.

Does it’s job and price was fair. But here in Florida, you gotta get something a little stronger/bigger than what is recommended.

This unit is way louder than the previous unit i had.

I’ve had this unit since June of 2020. My first summer it worked amazing. I drained the tank before storing it in a closet for the winter months. The second summer I used this (2021) it kept reading the P1 message telling me I needed to drain the tray. There was nothing to drain. Eventually the message went away but did come back off and on. It does just an okay job at cooling down a bedroom that’s about 150 square foot. I’m not sure I’d recommend to a friend.

Is cooling this smallish space. Wish it were a little smaller and easier to roll around.

Did a good job last summer let's see if it'll still work for summer #2, seems these units are short lived...

Great value for the price!. It is very comfortable and it runs quietly.I have it on low right now. Worth the money for us!

Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the controls and remote are pretty janky for the price point. Other than that seems to do the job!

The low profile in the window is a great reason to buy

This unit was a waste of money. It constantly leaked and it was such a noisemaker, I had to return it. In addition, it didn’t get that cool.

Good item but not good for bacement that’s why I returned it

The energy saver mode it's good but it gets too hot so I would recommend to leave it on all night

So loud it wakes the dead. Literally shakes the walls when it turns on to the A/C. Fan is loud as well, but not as loud as the A/C.

This air conditioner was working fine for about a month, but now it’s just randomly shutting off and beeping nonstop until you unplug it and plug it back in. If you buy this, prepare for this thing to start waking you up in the middle of the night with that constant beeping! It does cool a small room just fine when it’s actually working, something it rarely does now.

It works incredibly! Me and my WiFi have been using it for 6 months and it’s perfect for us!

Its a very loud unit, it also takes up alot of room

I owned a portable air conditioner before. This one is quiet and efficient! You do not have to dump any water! I have already recommended it to a family member. They purchased it and love it as much as I do. Would purchase again!
