Well my daughter have a new baby girl in the house and she have old house windows so I need to help her with a port air conditioner

Only reason it’s not a 5 star Is because I wish I had more direct control of the air direction. It does cool the room, though. Mission accomplished.

Pretty good, but doesn’t look the best when you are trying to put it in a good location that fits. The back part of the exhaust can get in the way when trying to put it In a corner.

This is my second INSIGNIA ac. The 400 sq ft model from last year is better. I bought this for my apt sized bedroom and I’d have to turn it in an hour in advance and close the room up to actually feel it. Was kind of disappointed. The 400 sq ft one was way stronger. And this didn’t come with the vent panel which made it impossible to install. I wasn’t too happy. I still believe in this brand. But this product I would not buy again.

I don’t believe the controller is the one that belongs to the air conditioner itself as there are certain buttons that just don’t work when I push them and it’s not the same controller as shown in the instructions. I also can’t adjust the fan to low medium and high it stays on high the whole time. Because I like to have my windows open when possible I thought this would’ve been the best option instead of a window air conditioner, but I was wrong

It does the job. I wish it was a little more powerful but you can't expect a lot from the portable ACs

Worked great for a year, which is when the manufacturer's warranty ended. Not sure if the warranty should be related to the life of the product, but I would invest in another product. I have paid less for other window air conditioners that have lasted longer. This was disappointing as I thought the price would be reflective of the quality.

I've had it up for a month no with no issues. I like that the cover goes up and down automatically to circulate the air more.

Pretty good but not as cold as other portable ac units I've had set to same temperature (if that's what you are after.)

This was a purchase for the summer time to cool down a room. It did it’s job ok

Now this product was good really good. It had a remote and because they made a mistake as I was sold a bad tv and I took it back they gave me a little break on it. But you can tell they are so scared of their boss they blame what they can’t do which is nothing for the customer. They blame their boss. Be a grown up and say you can’t do it. Selective Managment needs people skills

Its good but would like to see a better price for sure

Have two and the remotes get mixed and have to be reset

Great ventilation, not so large and bulky last but not least perfect for medium sized room.

Works great for my small room. I love the fact that it has different setting options, and the cooling effect is top notch

The unit is Good for the price but it could also be better

Get it? Dinged 1 star because the remote thermostat requires line of site which renders it completely useless.

Excellent option for a small to medium room, quiet enough , great unit

You might need and extra tube if you have a higher window, the one included isn’t too long
