    I received this a/c new in box, from store pickup. I got the unit home, unpacked everything, got it all set up. Turn it on and the control panel lights up, but no air comes out. 5 minutes pass and E4 shows up on the panel. Looking in the book, it is recommended to turn it off and back on to solve the issue. No luck. It turns out that the control panel wasn't connecting to the rest of the unit. I was forced to return it to the store for an exchange, but alas it was the only one. I bought another brand instead.

    Good and cool air but CANNOT cool 300sq ft. Maybe 150ft if lucky.

    I originally purchased on 6/24/20, it worked great. Today is 8/29/20 and the compressor no longer works. I’ve emailed insignia and waiting to hear back from them. I will submit another review regarding their service after I hear back from them.

    Not a bad A/C unit at first, though after around 3 months of use it becomes moldy inside, begins leaking, and on top of that is IMPOSSIBLE to clean without disassembling it. Don’t recommend for anyone without technical knowledge

    This portable ac had great reviews and a great price but my experience has been anything but great. It never feels like this ac cools down a room, no matter how long it runs and no matter what setting you choose. Then everytime I TRULY need the ac, it ALWAYS cuts off. Occasionally the tank needs to be empty but usually there's no reason why it's cutting off. No overheating and everything is set up the same. I've looked through the manual and tried to contact customer service, nothing has helped.

    This isn't completely useless, but it only covers about a third of the space that it claims. Nice cold air if you're right next to it, however, this didn't even cool an entire room. Not at all worth the money, maybe good for small spaces or a bedroom.

    I am pretty disappointed with this purchase. Even at the lowest settings at 62 degrees Fahrenheit, this does not blow cold. It is also very loud

    Doesn't cool down room. Lowest my room got was 79. This thing is heavy, it's so much hassle to return but i have too. Very upset i wasted my time .

    Says it’s for rooms up to 300 sq feet, & it can barely keep my 215 square foot living room at 80°. Basically worthless if it’s not on 24/7. Can’t wait to return this piece of junk.

    In store service is very poor, manager in store trying to force enroll membership which cost you 49.99 yearly . while trying to return product at store after 14 days , they will charge you 50 for this ...will not recomend

    Bought mine in May 2020, after a month it gave me problems and I just brought it to the store today since it stopped working after displaying p1, even though there's nothing to drain out. Didnt cool the same space as my 5ooobtu window ac did.

    Got this model 2 yeats ago so figured for my office, i would get same thing. This blows air but not cool...Will take it back and reorder one, hopefully next one works better!

    It is on cool and fills with water.. no idea why, it’s not on dehumidifier just cool and it fills with water . I keep the hose in it (even tho it’s on cool) and I have to empty a large bucket 5 times a day filled to the top. Once a week I have to literally unscrew and drain it from the bottom. I have no idea what is wrong but I don’t recommend. Never cooled my apartment under 80 degrees.

    It worked for about two weeks then just started beeping over and over. I tried cleaning filters and making sure no water was in it. Still just beeps over and over!!!! It’s so frustrating!
