    It worked for about two weeks then just started beeping over and over. I tried cleaning filters and making sure no water was in it. Still just beeps over and over!!!! It’s so frustrating!

    AC arrived with a crack - destroyed my carpet

    The unit arrived with a crack in the drain plug. I obviously didn't realize this and let it run for a bit. When i returned, there was a huge puddle under the unit and after it dried, my carpet is now wrinkled/destroyed and needs to be replaced. SO, I need to return this hulk AND i need to have my carpet replaced. Best Buy would not help with the latter, shocker, and now i get to pack the thing up and coordinate a pick up with UPS. Hooray.

    I have a small place and this does not keep the living room cold or anything...i have to literally sit in front of it in a chair to feel it. Regret buying it

    It is on cool and fills with water.. no idea why, it’s not on dehumidifier just cool and it fills with water . I keep the hose in it (even tho it’s on cool) and I have to empty a large bucket 5 times a day filled to the top. Once a week I have to literally unscrew and drain it from the bottom. I have no idea what is wrong but I don’t recommend. Never cooled my apartment under 80 degrees.

    Purchased an open box in excellent condition. Received the item and it was missing the remote and window kit including the hose which clearly was stated was included. On the box itself was a sticker saying it had been inspected and was in excellent condition with no missing pieces. I’m not sure how anyone that was actually doing their job missed this. When I called Best Buy they were no help other than stating that they apologized and that I was correct and that nothing should have been missing which didn’t help. I had to purchase a universal window kit myself. Horrible experience.

    In store service is very poor, manager in store trying to force enroll membership which cost you 49.99 yearly . while trying to return product at store after 14 days , they will charge you 50 for this ...will not recomend

    Ac unit works fine, but is missing a lot of pieces that was supposed to be included, the front side had a lot of skid marks which made it look dirty

    This has been giving me a hot, annoying night. This Machine has been working fine the past couple of months. This week I’ve noticed it’ll stop blowing A.C and will just keep on beeping non stop, without an error message on it. I’ve been restarting and draining and now the intervals where it blows A.C and starts the beeping and I re-drain is as low as like an hour. AND I can not just reboot it after I drain, I have to let it sit for a few before I can run it again. Very annoyed.

    It doesn’t cool the room as quickly as a traditional AC. It’s powers on and off when it hasn’t reached temp.

    Works great on fan but when on cool or auto it’ll be on for a half hour sometimes longer before shutting off. It then has to be reset from the outlet and turned off that way before it will work again.

    Does a good job for my little 300 sq foot studio apartment. Install was painless, and while I have only used in on cool, I imagine it does a good job heating as well. If you use the dry mode, you will need to figure out a way to drain it (it does come with a small plastic hoze). If you use the cool mode, the water that is collected from the air in the room is used within the unit for evaporative cooling. It was a little cumbersome to get onto the third floor, so be sure that you are able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. The unit is very loud when it's actively working on the highest mode. When it's just maintaining a temperature, it isn't as loud. In the beginning, I almost missed my morning alarm, so I put some pillows around it to dampen the sound, which helped considerably. After a few weeks of use, it sounds a little water logged when I turn it on, so it may need to be drained sometime in the near future. Overall i'm satisfied with the purchase, I'm only using it for this season, and it gets the job done.

    I would typically recommend an insignia product but stay far away from their portable ACs. After 2 years, it is no longer blowing cool air and of course it is out of warranty after one year. Yes, the air filter is routinely cleaned, the compressor turns on, and we have tried all options of troubleshooting in the manual. What a waste of money.

    I got the 300 sq ft portable ac. My room is less than 309 sq ft. It doesn’t cool the room at all. Terrible purchase and it’s super loud. Waste of money

    I got this because my sister got one about a year ago and it works amazing. Instantly cools her room. Figured- ok I’ll get one. It was a disappointment to say the least. Set it all up and plugged it in. And——- average room temp air blowing. I gave it some time to kick in and **nothing**. It would turn into cold air for ~30 seconds then go right back to room temp air. My own fan in my room blows colder air. I’m beyond upset about this.

    So I purchased this item because it is clearly listed as 300 square feet but upon buying it it clearly says up to 250 feet. That’s 50 feet missing?? They didn’t have any that say 300 feet

    Only lasted for about 6 months until MOLD formed on the inside. I Cleaned the filter regularly, drained the water every 1-2 weeks. I would keep it on auto at a temperature of 67-70 eventually the filters weren’t cutting it. The water was clunky and dark instead of clear immediately returned it when I noticed the air smelling moldy and dirty. Cleaned it the best I could and still didn’t hold up…

    we are trying to cool a bedroom average size 12x14 . this air conditioner runs all the time. it is loud and the vent is only 4 ft. the manual has no replacement parts listed so i am stuck trying to find the right vent to get a longer one. unacceptable. will never use best buy again. and closing this card and account.
