AC arrived with a crack - destroyed my carpet

I obviously didn't realize this and let it run for a bit. When i returned, there was a huge puddle under the unit and after it dried, my carpet is now wrinkled/destroyed and needs to be replaced. SO, I need to return this hulk AND i need to have my carpet replaced. Best Buy would not help with the latter, shocker, and now i get to pack the thing up and coordinate a pick up with UPS. Hooray.

Horrible experience

Received the item and it was missing the remote and window kit including the hose which clearly was stated was included. On the box itself was a sticker saying it had been inspected and was in excellent condition with no missing pieces. I’m not sure how anyone that was actually doing their job missed this. When I called Best Buy they were no help other than stating that they apologized and that I was correct and that nothing should have been missing which didn’t help. I had to purchase a universal window kit myself. Horrible experience.

Install was painless, and while I have only used in on cool, I imagine it does a good job heating as well. If you use the dry mode, you will need to figure out a way to drain it (it does come with a small plastic hoze). If you use the cool mode, the water that is collected from the air in the room is used within the unit for evaporative cooling. It was a little cumbersome to get onto the third floor, so be sure that you are able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. The unit is very loud when it's actively working on the highest mode. When it's just maintaining a temperature, it isn't as loud. In the beginning, I almost missed my morning alarm, so I put some pillows around it to dampen the sound, which helped considerably. After a few weeks of use, it sounds a little water logged when I turn it on, so it may need to be drained sometime in the near future. Overall i'm satisfied with the purchase, I'm only using it for this season, and it gets the job done.

Terrible

This Machine has been working fine the past couple of months. This week I’ve noticed it’ll stop blowing A.C and will just keep on beeping non stop, without an error message on it. I’ve been restarting and draining and now the intervals where it blows A.C and starts the beeping and I re-drain is as low as like an hour. AND I can not just reboot it after I drain, I have to let it sit for a few before I can run it again. Very annoyed.

It’s okay

Worked for one year

After 2 years, it is no longer blowing cool air and of course it is out of warranty after one year. Yes, the air filter is routinely cleaned, the compressor turns on, and we have tried all options of troubleshooting in the manual. What a waste of money.

Compressor broke no cold air

Won’t stay on

It then has to be reset from the outlet and turned off that way before it will work again.

Figured- ok I’ll get one. It was a disappointment to say the least. Set it all up and plugged it in. And——- average room temp air blowing. I gave it some time to kick in and **nothing**. It would turn into cold air for ~30 seconds then go right back to room temp air. My own fan in my room blows colder air. I’m beyond upset about this.

*MOLD*

I Cleaned the filter regularly, drained the water every 1-2 weeks. I would keep it on auto at a temperature of 67-70 eventually the filters weren’t cutting it. The water was clunky and dark instead of clear immediately returned it when I noticed the air smelling moldy and dirty. Cleaned it the best I could and still didn’t hold up…

Wrong square footage ????

Order# BBY01-806482646043 I was promised delivery on 8/18. Since then, I have received auto- generated delay of delivery from “on Trac Shipping” each subsequent day. After speaking with them, they admitted that they don’t know where the product is, on what truck, or when it will be delivered. I filed a claim Case ID #267890735 on 8/25 with Victor. When are you going to credit my account?

Product is defective

The opening of the exhaust was closed tight and the adhesive was a pain to remove. After I was done setting it up, I plugged it into a three pronged outlet and it didn't turn on. I tried it with other outlets and it still did not turn on. The product is defective. It's going to be another pain returning this since it's so heavy.

If you connect the hose you will not need to drain water again and again.
The unit provides a 600mm length hose in accessory bag for draining water. Or you can buy the universal connector and hose in market .The dimension is the drain connector(5/8" universal female mender) with 3/4" hose. you can buy the length you actual need.
