Does not cool at all. Waste of money and have to go out and buy a new one.

Just received this and it is clearly a used item. Very disappointed.

Kept turning off on me like it overheated and never cold my small room.

It took hours to cool a small bedroom it says 300 ft not so

I’m missing a few parts from the item I ordered. Plus some of the parts came damaged

Do not waste your money It does not blow cold air at all

My girlfriend and I reside in central Illinois, and we have two dogs, and two cats, and good air-conditioning is paramount. Anyhow our OLD air-conditioning unit went out, and it was going to cost us about 6,000 to install a new unit.... And we regretfully don't have any money trees growing on our property. So, I did some research on this particular unit, and the reviews seemed favorable. We went to Best Buy and purchased one, and let me say that this thing is pretty amazing. It has numerous functions, and is extremely easy to set up. Literally this air conditioner has been a life saver, and does a fantastic job. If you're in the market for a portable house unit, then this is the one that you need to get.

It shorted out twice in my house. We ended up returning it.

Great unit! Picked it out on informative BestBuy website. Team member helped with my purchase & loading the Insignia portable a/c unit in my vehicle. Packaging is robust & well thought out. The assembly of the exhaust hose through the adapter to the window slides is simple , secure & well engineered. There are several slide options to fit many window styles. Control panel is well laid out & easy to use. Most importantly, it does a great job of keeping you cool!!

After paying a lot more for a DeLonghi and an LG portable AC that quit working within the first year, I was pretty skeptical about buying the Insignia brand. I had never previously associated the brand with quality,, but since this purchase I've bought more Insignia products that have seemed to outperform the "reputable" brands for a fraction of the price. This AC is now in Antarctica - also known as my kid's room. Sure, its overpowered for their less than 200 square foot room. But it even cools down my entire living room, dining room and kitchen that is an open floor plan and is approximately 700 square feet(when I actually wheel it into the living room- this will not cool multiple rooms). The vent hose cracked at just about the 3 year mark, but was easily fixed with a window vent kit from amazon. I did not expect this unit to last so long. We live in California, so its not often very humid here, but we did have one summer that required occasional draining of the condensation pan. It is tedious and annoying, but we live in older condos without central AC so its better than no AC. If you live in a perpetually humid state, you may want to consider one thay drains easier or try to connect a drain hose that runs out your door or something. The drain plug is at the bottom and it isnt exactly possible to just lift it over your sink and drain it. Usually, my teenager helps me lift it into the bath tub to drain it which requires disconnecting from the vent hose, draining, then reconnecting it. We are using this upstairs and cannot get it outside to drain. The manual recommends (in cases like mine) to use a shallow pan or dish but there is really no way to fit a shallow pan between the casters under the unit/plug. Making the draining process simpler would make this unit even better, but after the many I've had, this seems to be status quo so I dont consider it an issue with this particular model, but all portable AC units. A removable tray would likely be the most cost effective option for Insignia that would at least make consumers' lives a little easier. I also have a 100 amp electrical panel and we struggle with constant breaker trips in every room but where this AC us plugged in, which also houses my son's ridiculous PC and gaming set up that makes my electric bill eat away at my paycheck. While it isnt energy star rated, it is rated better than some with similar BTUs and hasnt tripped my breaker yet.

Wonderful Ac. I purchased one previously as well. This thing works like a charm. Cold air. Easy maintenance. My favorite feature is auto closing of the vent. It keeps the dust out of the ac. Highly recommend. Great product.

This thing has been a lifesaver! We had no AC when we moved into our rental house. It cools very well and is pretty quiet, and easy to maintain. The associate the helped us load it on a cart said he has the same one and that it works great, so it was nice to get an immediate review from someone as well that it works well! Thank y'all!

Great for small rooms or indoor porch areas cools room in a matter of minutes

Set up was very easy, only difficult part was determining which adhesive tape to apply and where as the instructions were not very clear. Fits snug in the window frame, and from an appearance stand point outside it does not look offensive. It started right up and blows cold air. This is really designed for a small bedroom/office only, anything larger and you would need a stronger unit. Very easy access to the filter which is cleaned with soap/water. Drain plug is also easily accessed. Overall very happy with the purchase and it does the job!

Purchased this less than 2hours ago. I dragged this sucker out my car and had it unboxed, assembled, and running in less than 30minutes. I have it set to the lowest temp and highest fan speed to cool down the main level of my home during this heat wave. I am using the Dreo vornado fan as well to circulate the cool air. Its only been on for about 20min and the temp inside my home has already dropped 6 degrees. Im very pleased with this purchase. And it's on sale.

Portable AC Model:NS-AC07PWH1 is unbelievably easy to setup- honestly plug-n-play. On top of that i scored an excellent condition open box unit. Unfortunately the Air exhaust passage piece is missing. Totally understand- it is open box. What i don't understand is- customer support could not send me the piece. My options were to return the entire unit for exchange or $15 refund.

I'm just so glad that I can get a nice night of sleep in my now, cool bedroom! It is easy to install, I did it myself, and it cool the space fast. Like many mentioned, it is loud, but between having silent, and sleeping in 90 degrees room, I'd rather embrace the noise.
